3 Way Touch Lamp, Black Color

Nice cozy lamp! Its small size doesn't take up a lot of space. When lit, the white frosted flowers look very pretty on the black glass. It's not overly bright but gives off plenty of light for me to watch TV or see my way around the room at night. Although the lamp may be bright enough, I don't think it's quite tall enough to make a good reading light.The company's customer service is terrific. When I first received the light, the 3-way touch wouldn't work, the lamp turned on, then off, on the second touch. The staff at Click2go were great ...polite, apologetic and they quickly fixed the problem by sending a replacement base. Not only, does the the lamp get a 5 star rating but so does Click2go for their great, friendly & fast, service!

I liked the lamp but when it arrived a couple of the glass inserts were broken. They sent new ones but even when they arrived one was cracked. I just turned the cracked one to the back.

Here are some of the reasons for the One Star rating:1. Much assembly required - but they don't tell you this.2. The "shade" is six or eight pieces of curved glass that you bolt onto the frame.3. The pieces of glass have wide gaps between them.4. This lets light escape upward, and does not do an adequate job of lighting the desk.5. RETURN POLICY: Forget it! You pay postage both ways and a 15% restocking fee on top of that!6. This ridiculous return policy made it a joy for me to take this piece of junk and toss it in my garbage.Finally this lamp really does look cheap. I could go for that because it doesn't cost much. But just know, ifyou don't like cheap, chintzy stuff in your house, don't buy this lamp.

I gave this to my wife as a birthday present. She loved it (me to) but within 7 weeks it stopped working.

I ordered this lamp in black and instead received something that I feel comfortable referring to as a "bizarre floral monstrosity." Possibly the universe is telling me I'm a little too goth for its liking; most likely I've been the victim of a shipping error.But since it functions exactly as advertised and my old lamp is no less broken, I'm inclined to just laugh, shake my head, and keep it. A great purchase if you want to play russian roulette with your decor.EDIT: Oh my god.My landlady called me down to the office today and handed me a package, which surprised me because I hadn't ordered anything. Apparently someone at this company read my review and decided to send me a "black" lamp of theirs...IT'S A DIFFERENT BLACK LAMP! This is not the right lamp! I did not ask for this lamp! The one I ordered had glass panels that slotted sideways over each other and were decorated with long-stemmed daisies. This one has leaves on it??It's a very nice lamp, I guess; I still don't have the lamp I ordered but I DON'T NEED ANY MORE LAMPS, REALLY!

I had ordered this lamp for my brother who is very finicky about items in his man cave. He needed something that was easy to work with and didn't involve too much shutting on and off. He loves it and the glow from the lamp is soft, bright and nice-looking.! I was really impressed by it and will probably order another for myself.!!

this was a gift for my friend who loves touch lamps. but upon opening it, there was a piece of the lamp that was broken and missing. we were greatly disappointed. the packers should inspect all the lamps before shipping. we didn't return the lamp because it wouldve been too much pain to package it and send it back.
