Expensive but makes cooking an absolute pleasure
I was initially taken aback by the price, but it is miles ahead of even my Le Creuset skillet which I used to love. I used to replace skillet every 2 years because the non-stick coating would slowly fade. No worries with this one as it is naturally non-stick. I can get it really hot without any concerns, and the heat retention is superb, allowing for restaurant-like searing. I managed the best tuna steaks and chicken I ever made first time using the pan. The heat is also perfectly uniform, allowing me to cook 2 tuna steaks to perfection without any colder spots. It becomes a real pleasure to cook, and I’m already looking forward to try steaks.Only drawback is the weight which can make it difficult to handle, and of course the price which is steep steep steep. However, considering this is the last skillet you will ever need, it is well worth the price.
