USB-C Multimedia Hub - Grey

It can be used with an external power source in case you want to connect high power usage peripherals. The surface finish is very nice and it works very well but the cable is a ~8cm long and not very flexible (perhaps to prevent timeouts during data transfers between the laptop and your peripherals). A longer cable would avoid me worrying it will slip of the table and damage my USB C slot.

I’ve been using this with MacBook Pro 2018 and it works perfectly. The main connection that I use is Ethernet as I tend to play some multiplayer games and it works perfectly with no flaws at all in that area. You can also plug in your charger in the hub so you don’t have to use multiple ports, however I found out that it can get quite hot since my laptop is 15”. Overall, the build quality is amazing and it does the job perfectly.

Clean (as in tidy, only really needed functionality) piece of hardware. Works perfectly and without flaw, this does not aim to be a cheap generic 'Swiss army' knife of hub's like so many cheaper and inferior brands. Great for the purpose and pretty amazing it has the Ethernet Gigabit plug, which on MacBook Pro 2019 works as plug and play! Really very much needed on some laptops/MacBooks esp the 2019 MacBook Pro which only has 2 x usb-c (Lightening)

This is my second one, the previous I had to return when I left the company. It does everything expected with enough ports. Sturdy - I have thrown it around in my travels with no issues. Plus Apple told me that using it would not affect the Apple warranty on the Macbook Pro!

I am using this on a Dell XPS 13 9300. I use the power pass through (plugging the laptop charger in to the USB C power pass through on the device and then plugging the device in to the laptop), have an external 1080p monitor connected via the HDMI, and use one of the USB A ports to charge my peripherals. All this does work, although a warning does appear on the laptop that the power is not enough and it might charge slowly, or not at all. I imagine this is a Dell thing where it can detect when the official power supply is not attached. Not a big deal, as it does still charge the laptop, just slower (note this is under light loads). It does get a bit warm when the power delivery is in use, nothing alarming, just something to watch out for. My only grip is when you remove the power cord from the device, the entire device stops registering on the laptop: the connected screen is momentarily not connected and it will only use the laptop screen, and the other attached devices will stop working. It quickly re-registers and continues to work, it's just frustrating you can't quickly plug it/out if you want to, and this would break any data transfers USB A sticks you might be using. This isn't a deal breaker, again, just something to watch out for. If you're looking for something with power delivery/pass through, this is worth getting. If you only need extra ports, there are cheaper alternatives out there which will work just as well.

I have a work and personal computer and wanted a simple solution to allow me to have a keyboard, mouse, webcam and large monitor between the 2 computers. The peripherals are connected to the hub and just swap the single USBC connector depending on which machine I am using. I also have a Belker 1m USBC extension cable plugged into the HP which makes it easier to swap between computers. Works perfectly for me.

Belkin are normally a good quality brand, which is why I bought this hub (fed up with cheap Chinese electrical devices which don't work, don't fit or fry your devices). So I am extremely disappointed to see that the one thing I bought this hub for, the USB-A ports do not accept a USB-A plug. Maybe it was a faulty unit, so Amazon sent me a second one. This one DID accept the USB-A plugs but after about 20 minutes with a brand new hard drive plugged in, it crashed my MacBook. Seems, according to the error report, that the hub's drivers had an issue. So. Two units. Both faulty in different ways. I always used to think that Belkin was a good quality brand, but no more.

Schnelle Lieferung :) Der Hub macht, was er soll. Er stört nicht die bluetooth Verbindung von meinem Rechner und beeinflusst nicht den wlan Empfang! Er wird bei fast kompletter Ausnutzung (ausser Netzwerkkabel und Strom) etwas warm, aber nicht heiss. Video über hdmi funktioniert tadellos. Empfehlenswert für MBP da nur ein USB-C Platz benötigt wird. Good buy :)

Bought this because the new M1 MacBook only has 2 USB-C ports and I wanted a hub so that I could use all my devices like external hard drives (USB 3) and be able to use HDMI. It also has pass through charging which is great - it does get a little warm after a while but it's nothing that worries me too much. Best part is it also comes with an ethernet port in case of any wi-fi issues. It's extremely lightweight. Also got it at a really great price and got it within 3 days with free Prime express shipping! Very happy overall!

Très bon hub qui est idéal pour assister un MBP avec port USB-c. Permet de tout laisser la branché (écran, réseau, disques externes, alimentation, etc.) avec un seul câble. Très belle finition.

I’ve had this in use for 3 years now and it’s still working great. It’s a compact device and has always performed as expected. My only comment is that it gets a little hot when in use, but that’s no big deal.
