I-beam pull up bar: do I drill the I-beam to attach the body(yellow) to the I-beam or these are bolts that press against the surface of the I-beam?

The bolts press down on the upper surfaces of the lower flanges of the I-beam. It is very secure. It installs in a couple of minutes.

Can this be mounted on 1/2 an I-Beam? 2 are in basement and are 1/2 length.

As long as you have room for the mounting brackets and bars than it should work on 1/2 an I beam; just make sure it can support your weight doing pull ups.

I can take down when not in use? Or once mounted needs to stay mounted?

Can take down, but probably 5 minutes to take down and 5 to 10 minutes to put back up. Best to leave up if you can.

Can this be mounted to a finished I-Beam?

What is a finished I-Beam? - I mounted mine to a raw ibeam. If you have encased the beam in wood or something else, the finish will get damaged, even if you try to protect it the compression stress on any finishing will mar or damage the finish. If you don't care, then I would cut through and remove the finishe so you get a more snug and secure fit to the I-beam.
