Bob's Red Mill Shredded Coconut, 12oz (Pack of 4) - Non GMO, Fair Trade Certified, Vegan, Paleo Friendly, Keto Friendly Friendly, Kosher

I use a number of Bob's red mill products and I am a pretty big fan overall. I recently ran out of shredded coconut and needed to stock up and chose this. I use coconut regularly in cooking and baking and daily in my oatmeal. The taste is as you would expect (great) and the texture is very good. The shreds still have some "pop" or crunch to them which I personally enjoy compared to the low quality store brand stuff that tends to be very soft in my opinion. In regards to this product being organic, conventional coconut does not usually tend to have any pesticide residue so if you want to save some pocket change feel free to just use your own discretion. I found this price to be very reasonable and tend to have a better experience with organic so I figured why not! No added sugar, no starchy coating, no additional ingredients. Just some good shredded coconut in a bag 🙂

Packaging: - The product came packaged as depicted by the images on Amazon. The outside packaging was a nice sturdy cardboard box (different from the images on Amazon, but it really doesn't matter all that much) with 4 ziplock bags of shredded coconut meat. Each ziplock bag felt durable, but the single zipper felt somewhat flimsy (but I haven't managed to accidentally tear it from the bag yet, which is great news) Shredded coconut meat: - Appearance: The pieces of meat are rather white, without any noticeable discoloration or any abnormalities - Smell: Light coconut smell (very pleasant) - Taste: Light coconut flavor with a bit of sweetness (very enjoyable flavor) All in all, a great product (good source of healthy fats and dietary fiber, that's also low in net carbs) that I enjoy eating on it's own or in a variety different ways (smoothies, salads, baked goods, energy balls, etc.).

As always with Bob's Red Mill, great quality. This is a lower price than my local store. I use it mostly in my homemade granola.

Love to roll my dates in this and make manna. Delicious and even a bit crispy!

This coconut doesn't have a sugar coating which is exactly what I was looking for. It tastes great. The only thing that I can say I'd like better about it is if the shreds were a little bigger. Other than that I love this coconut. I make my own food bars and wanted to put coconut in them and this fit the bill. Thanks, RM.

Yummy coconut, good quality, convenient packaging that reseals

This is the best shredded coconut I have found on the market! I love it because it is really shredded and perfect for sprinkling on smoothie bowls and topping cookies! I just made Bob's pancakes with this coconut in them and they were amazing. It's perfect for baking and the coconut flavor is very fresh! I highly recommend it!!!!

I have to use unsweetened coconut. Good quality, good price, and with Amazon it's delivered right to my door. Non-GMO verified, fair trade certified, unsulphured. I love putting this into my oatmeal and, of course, baking with it. I prefer these fine shreds rather than flaked coconut.
