These magnets arrived quickly and without issue. The quality is really nice and easy to see why it’s a top seller. Upon opening, I noticed that the packaging was well thought out to keep the magnets separated as they are very strong! They were incredibly easy to install inside areas of our house. We used the adhesive to hold them in place and used the supplied screws to further secure the magnets. If you read the reviews, you’ll see that the screws are soft and tend to strip. We drilled pilot holes and turned them by hand to address and issues, but the screws were fine. Very happy with the product and the hold power.

I actually got this to mount a readily accessible knife inside my car, as I cannot bring a gun aboard the military base where I work. But, it may be occasionally used for a pistol when I'm off, though I prefer it on my body personally. Firstly, if you are counting on using just the adhesive without using the screws, forget it. Even in the product literature it says not to do this, the adhesive will barely hold just the magnet in place despite the surface being thoroughly cleaned. Much as I hate drilling into my car it is a neccesary evil for the product to work, even for a lightweight knife. Luckily, the plain black magnet and screws are discreet so looks like it could be an OEM feature. Even if the magnet comes apart I can just stick a couple black screws in there and call it a day. The magnet is decently strong, it is no refrigerator magnet, but not near as strong as some rare earth magnets I've handled. I'm a little skeptical that it will hold 30 lbs but didn't test it so can't say. It will hold my full size PT-92 with a loaded 21 round magazine and mounted light, but I wouldn't want to drive down a bumpy dirt road with it. The screws aren't the best I've ever seen, but if you drill a tiny pilot hole they seem fine. They aren't self-tapping. For long term carry of a pistol in a vehicle, I would personally put a bit of microfiber cloth (like you get with glasses) between the magnet and pistol. The rubber is soft but has ridges that I wouldn't trust to not mar the finish as the pistol will vibrate as you drive. The Hellcat I currently own has almost no usable storage beyond the console box, glove box on the passenger side, a mesh pocket by your knee which will hold precisely nothing, and a little slot for a wallet or something, so I'm happy to have this. I would rate it 4.5 but as it isn't an option I will give it 5 with some reservations. The knife is just going to stay in there so not worried about pulling it off repeatedly. Despite having a spring steel clip on the sheath I found it more secure to just remove the sheath, put it in the glove box, and stick the bare blade to the magnet. It's low profile so no danger of the blade cutting or poking you. I'm kind of excited to see what I can use the other one for. A bunch of potential uses.

Perfect for my small wall safe. I was leery about buying these but I'm so glad I did. They truly double my storage space in my small wall safe. These were easy to install and now I can fit my hand guns directly on the door and the inside rifle space.

I bought these Gun Magnets for my daughter & I installed them on her car down by the plastic by her left foot hidden out of sight. Instead of using the screws that it came with, I Gorilla Glued the magnet to the plastic down by her left foot out of the way & I let it cure for over 24 hours before I let her use it. So far it's a solid stick & it hasn't came off yet & these Magnets are very strong. Even if someone is standing outside of her window looking in her car, they can't see her pistol, but it's very easy for her to get to. This is a must have when you gotta leave your pistol in your car.

Smaller than you think also stronger than you’d think.

My expectations were not very high, but I thought I'd go ahead and give it a try. I was very wrong. This little magnet holds my different pistols extremely well. I recently installed one in my truck that I take to the ranch regularly. The roads are rough and the pistols does not move at all . The protective rubber coating is nice and does not scuff the gun at all. Great product!

Showed up in 2 days, and for 14 bucks this is a great magnet for holding up a hand gun, also very low profile.

The company stands by their product. Amazing customer service. Magnets did not hold vertically as scene in picture. But horizontally should not be a problem. Recommended.
