A very rich and robust flavor profile that is among the best I've tasted.
First, read the directions on the top regarding releasing the pressure under which it's packed slowly prior to opening. If opened too quickly a cloud of coffee appears. Second, it's a robust roast. It's very rich in flavor without a bitter or burnt taste. Brewing a pot on a bold setting resulted in a very enjoyable cup of coffee which I prefer to drink black. I will try a normal brew with my next pot. I expect to prefer the deeper, richer and noticibly stronger bold setting.

A nice dark roast coffee. It's a very fine grind, think espresso, and is sealed well, so no oxidation.

So good with my Moka Pot
My first Illy coffee and one of the best using my Moka Pot. Taste soo good and I don't think it has high caffeine because I sleep well, unlike other coffees I've tried.

Better than Starbucks
Not acidic and very smooth with a pleasant aroma. Not very much is needed to extract a nice brew. Great for people who want to taste their coffee without a much caffeine. Great for an iced Americano or everyday coffee w/ a splash of cream and sugar, if you like

Illy is favorite but why are you increasing in short period.....now have to wait till February Ordered Amazon coffee. not pref for full cafinated Price change not cool!

MISSING LID (CAP)
I am a coffee enthusiast, and I also use lots of coffee for drinks and desserts at work. I have always purchased good quality coffee (subjective) such as INTELLIGENTSIA and STUMPTOWN COFFEE (to name a few), and often splurge on buying a good Koopi Luwac coffee when I have company. Of course, I have seen illy coffee forever, and think is decent by all means and wanted to start buying it because of the value (what you get for what you pay), especially for work. That being said I ordered one can of the Classico, and one of the Intenso to see which one would work for my taste and needs, however when I got my order, the cans were missing the lid. The brand prides itself on freshness, etc, but come on! what's the point of packaging your coffee in a can if you can't provide a lid? My answer is that lids cost money (as if they are not already charging enough!) and that's what Ziplocks are for. illy is not cheap coffee, and I can get as good of coffee at Trader Joe's for half the price per pound) I revolted greedy companies, and I am done with illy.
