Absolute perfection! Professional, huge, and smells amazing. 😻 I honestly rarely write reviews, but this bag deserves one. 1️⃣ I have been hunting for a work bag that can actually handle my 17-inch laptop plus all my files, and this 18-inch vintage messenger bag is a total game-changer. The Pros: • Space: It is cavernous in the best way possible. It fits my massive laptop, power brick, a notebook, my lunch, and a water bottle with room to spare. • Quality: The leather is genuine and thick. It came out of the package smelling like real leather (which I love), and the "vintage" finish looks high-end. It looks like a bag that cost three times the price. • Organization: There are so many pockets! I finally have a dedicated spot for my phone, pens, and business cards without them getting lost at the bottom. • Durability: The hardware (buckles and zippers) feels heavy-duty. I’m not worried about the strap snapping when I overload it. for daily commuting, and I’ve already received so many compliments at the office. If you are on the fence, just get it. You won't regret it!

Hello Passion Leather Team and Potential customers. I purchased this messenger bag on Amazon in August. My sweet husband was about to start his third year of medical school (clinical rotations), and his last polyester bag served him fine enough, but as all crappy quality items do, it frayed, ripped and broke. I was in the market for a new bag, but I didn’t want to have to keep replacing garbage ones. I SCOURED Amazon for leather bags, and I found attractive “leather look” but not the real thing— but then I found this messenger bag. It was supposed to be for Christmas, but I was too excited to wait. My husband is notoriously difficult to shop for, but my goodness, his eyes lit up when he opened the box. The leather smell hit him in the face, and he grinned from ear to ear, “Is this real leather?”. Yep. Proud wife moment. He spent the next hour inspecting in pockets, the seams, the buckles and interior. It passed his rigorous quality inspection with flying colors, obviously. He immediately RAN to grab all his things from his reusable plastic shopping bag that he had substituted as a carryall (how embarrassing!!), and meticulously packed the new bag. Not only did it fit everything, there was ample room for additional items, like his scrubs, his Ziploc bag of toiletries, and his Hydroflask. Amazing storage capacity— they really outdid themselves. He stood in front of the full length mirror, putting the bag on, adjusting it, carrying it, literally hosting his own fashion show in the mirror. He was positively DELIGHTED. The first day of his clinical at the Psych hospital, he was showered with compliments on the bag. The doctor he was shadowing told him he looked “more doctory” than he did. Nurses complimented him. Patients complimented him. The rich leather smell permeated the office and everyone LOVED IT. We have told everyone we know about this bag and website. Every clinical he has been to since, the messenger bag is eye catching and makes a great impression. I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for making such a beautiful, high quality product. It’s attractive. It’s functional. It’s professional. It’s easy to carry, and travels well. The buckles don’t break and the zippers are thick and sturdy. Obviously, it’s leather so it’s water resistant but you do have to care for it like any real leather product. Spacious and easy to use. It’s wearable art. I am actually so impressed. Well done. I have had a few Komal’s Passion Leather bags in my Want List for over a year and decided to finally pull the trigger on this one. I was very pleased with the quality and craftsmanship of this bag. It is roomy enough for my 15.6" Chromebook and it's leather sleeve, a couple of large books, a large leather bound notepad, my 10.1" tablet in it's leather case, and still has room left over for a few small or thin items. The two pockets in front are the perfect size for a mouse and power cords, even my vertical mouse fits in them. The side pockets are perfect for writing instruments, a cell phone or any other small item. I rated everything with 5 Stars because I really can't find any flaws in this bag. I am very particular about what I own and never go with something that is just "good enough", so when I say this is a great item you can take that to the bank. However, all that being said, there are two things that I don't like - one minor and one a little more not great. The minor one is I would have liked to seen the same concealed push button lock on the two front pockets instead of just the main strap. Having push button locks on the side pockets would have been great too. Not a deal breaker to me but a little bit of an inconvenience if you are getting in and out of those pockets a lot. The not-so-great issue is the shoulder strap. I notched it at the last hole to make it as short as possible (I'm 5'10") but the bottom of the bag still hangs to my knee making it almost look like a purse. The top of the bag is still above my waist though. I wish that KPL had anticipated buyers being under 6' tall and put in a few more holes. I have to say, I nearly made the decision to return the bag based solely off that. This is why I call it the (nearly) perfect bag. Fortunately I have a leather punch and can make a couple of holes to make the strap fit me better but I hate "damaging" something to do that. I still had to rate it 5 Stars because there's no feature that is specific to the strap and everything else is made so dang good that I couldn't mark anything lower. It would have been best if the strap was a single piece - it is two lengths you buckle together - or if it had a way to cinch it up. Bottom line - if you are looking for a high quality, very sharp looking laptop or messenger bag (I use this for gaming) then you don't have to look any further than Komal's Passion Leather.

The bag us uniformly well made and looks and feels very sturdy. Nice vintage look. The two front pockets and the two end pockets have buckle only fasteners while the main flap has a buckle for adjustment and a press snap for quick release that is hidden by the tongue hanging below the buckle. There is a full length zippered pocket on the back and two more inside the bag. The interior is lined with a heavy fabric of an olive green colour and is divided into two slim outer pockets and one wider center pocket. The inner dividers have two slim pockets on one and leather strip pen holders on the other. They are both lightly padded to help protect your laptop ot tablet. However the bottom of the bag is only fabric over leather with no padding so you might want to put a peice of foam on the bottom if you are carrying your electronics. The hardware seems of good quality and the shoulder pad has a loop large enough to easily pass over the adjustment buckle so you don't have to fight with it. The strap has rivets at the conection points. The handle attachment points are both sewn and riveted. Only one tiny cosmetic flaw on the back side of the handle. At some point the leather here got scraped and the smooth finish is gouged out in a small patch a little more than an eighth inch square. Very minor. The bag is intended to be used so it will probably get a few more scuffs in Its lifetime. Over all a very impressive bag. It is a tad on the heavy side but it is made of good quality leather so that is to be expected. A high quality item. Five stars.

This is my first time writing a review on any product but I found this product completely exceeded all of my expectations. The bag was beautifully wrapped with a Thank you note and letter to explain that the leather may have a distinctive smell (leather) for the first few weeks. Each buckle was individually wrapped so as not to scratch the leather in transport. It is exactly the kind of bag I was looking for to carry my computer (18"), books, pencil case and notes. It has great pockets both inside and out and the easy clip stap is great. My only complaint is the strap has the buckle on the short side so the strap flap is pointing up rather than down but this is only a minor problem. I waited a few weeks to post the review to see how the bag would hold up to everyday use and there is no issue with the straps or the handle holding the weight of my items. I have received so many compliments on this bag as well. I love it! Thank you for making such a beautiful product and such a reasonable price.

Great craftsmanship and excellent leather quality

The bag that arrived was not the bag in the picture. I need an 18 inch messanger bag for a 17 inch laptop. The one that arrived doesn't even reach 17 inches, so it rendors this unusable. Besides which, the buckles are locked with no key. It me 10 minutes to open it by the buckle. Bag in itself is quite well made, but I cant use it so there's no point. I'm really displeased about not getting the bag in photo.

Beautiful bag. Very sturdy, has held up very well over heavy use in the first month I've had it. Easy access to all compartments. Comfortable padded shoulder strap. Buckles for straps to close the top cover are a little awkward, letting the straps work themselves loose occasionally, but it's a very minor flaw on a very nice briefcase.
