Purchased these for locking my trail cameras onto trees. They work great on my cameras with the cable holes in them. Also like them being keyed alike so I only have to carry one key. Only regret is I should have got the 6 pack instead of the 4.

I love these cable locks, and actually this is my 3rd purchase of this style. I like that they’re keyed alike so I don’t have to carry a bunch of different keys out in the woods. They’re a nice camo color to blend into the background. They’re waterproof. So far I’ve had no issues with them cracking or rusting. Definitely worth the extra money for the higher quality. These locks are easy to unlock and lock vs different brands. Buy them, you won’t be disappointed.

Works great for my deer cameras.

These locks are great for a ton of different uses. Obviously most people use them for game cameras, and they work great for that, but if you have kayaks with a locking point, you can use these to lock them into your truck/trailer (or to each other if needed), they can be used as bike locks, for tree stands, grill locks, ladder locks, or as another review showed - through multiple locker doors instead of individual padlocks. Very durable and long lasting. If you plan to leave them outside a very long time (read: multiple years) use a PTFE/Teflon-based lubricant (found in any hardware store) to be safe. Remember, if you want to get multiple locks all keyed together, the easiest is to buy them all at once in a multi-pack (from 2 to 16 can be bought at same time). If you already bought a pair and want to add more locks (keyed the same as your existing ones), take your key number and contact a hardware store that sells Masterlock products - many of them can order more Python locks with that specific key number. As you can expect, you may pay more since it would be a special order, but it solves your problem. That is also why I mentioned ordering one of the larger packs if you see yourself needing multiple locks in the future.

Overall a good product. A bit more expensive than I would’ve liked to pay. Bought these for some moultrie cellular cameras that were a bit pricey themselves. They work well for XA7000 (ATT or Verizon) trailcameras. Haven’t tried them on anything else but they are designed well, sturdy and simple to use. Keeps an honest person away from stealing your camera but it won’t keep a thief if they really want it.

It doesn’t hurt to spray a light coat of graphite spray into the lock mechanism when brand new. They keep the honest person out but by no means does this make you’re cameras theft proof. Piece of mind more or so. The quality is good, good name brand. Each lock comes with two keys. If you purchase a set or 2 or more, all locks are keyed alike. Makes it very convenient. Even if theft has never been a issue for you, I’d still recommend these. It’s extremely disheartening to go pick up a camera or check a card and the whole damn thing is gone! Do yourself a favor.

Simple to use, the added security is reassuring with the amount of money we spend on our cameras. I like knowing that when I came back to service my camera that the chances of it still being there is very good.

Excellent quality secures camera to tree/objects with ease.

Acheté pour protéger mes caméra photos. Robuste, et ne craint pas les intempéries. Petite rectification après 2 essais... Le second antivol ne se bloque pas. Il est inutilisable 😞 et après une 3 mie utilisation, l'autre antivol ne se ferme plus non plus. Commandé le 31 janvier, et le 14 mars, les 2 sont inutilisables. 50€ pour même pas 1mois et demi d'utilisation :( cher payé !
