Truth Project DVD Set (Truth Project Series)

I am beginning to prepare a number of studies for adults using this series developed by Dr. Tackett and Focus on the Family. At the same time my wife, a Christian Counselor, and I are teaching a seminar on The Family Project, published also by Focus on the Family. They both have been anchored by showing the movie "Irreplaceable" to the church body. I will be able to give a more complete review next semester, at the end of our study.I am impressed with the comprehensiveness of Dr. Tackett's work in such a relatively short period of time. It is material that every thinking person should consider in living out their faith or considering/embracing the Christian faith..

A most valuable set of the Bible's truth for the faithful followers of Christ. I use it as a media resource for reminding Christians in small group settings of the Truth that sets us free from our selves and the deceivers clutches. I find the Truth Project most helpful to me in keeping me focused on the good news that God has for me. The leader of the media presentation is well versed with excellent supporting materials. I am challenged to accept the truth that I know and to let it loose in affecting my life and my relations with others.

Del Tackett is an excellent instructor and the series is well worth watching.

Other than a scratched disc that I had to purchase a replacement for (since I purchased it from a 3rd party vendor and NOT CBD), this has been an outstanding series.If you are convinced that God doesn't exist, this probably won't convince you. However, a timeless statement on that comes to mind: "the truth is the truth even if no one believes it. A lie is a lie even if everyone believes it."This series is well done and reinforces that it is ultimately God who is the maker and owner of all things.

Scholarly treatment of Our western culture seen from inside the world view of EvangelicalChristianity. In the same way that many of us view Islamism as an assault on our Western culture, The Truth Project spells out the assault of popular culture on Christianity. Only criticism is that the project is "preaching to the choir"... Unlikely to ever reach, not to mention convince, those who need it most.

This is an excellent series describing and defending the Christian worldview. The presentation is well done and organized in a fashion to suit those who may not have an apologetics or much Christian background. I had to go to around ten conferences and read many books to gather a fraction of what is coherently presented in this series. Many thanks to the presenter and his assistants.

Dr. Dell Tackett ably tackles the hard issues people ask and gives answers from a Christian worldview. All the subjects eventually revolve toward finding a foundation for the truth in an age that claims there is no truth. In this culture of relativitism, Dr Tackett gives refreshing but reasonable answers for anyone searching for an anchor for their life. The Truth Project offers the Christian worldview as the most reasonable explanation for the issues of life such as origin, meaning, morality, and destiny.A group of any size would benefit from this study.

This is an excellent presentation on Christian apologetics. It covers a wide range of relevant subjects. Information in presented in different formats: lecture with powerpoint, illustrations, stories, interviews with supporters and skeptics. I have watched the whole thing twice and some parts three times. It is intended for an adult audience. Each session is an hour long and it does require some concentration.
