Good Enough for the price.
These are decent products. Absolutely worth the price. If you want "perfect" alignment, I would advise the more costly Wheeler Professional Reticle Leveling System. That would ultimately result in "more level", but for half the cost, these smaller levels worked GREAT!

Not fancy, Not heavy duty.. But accurate and affordable.
This is really a pretty simple product that's pretty simple to use. Find a level place to reference from on the receiver, preferably across the bore or as close to it as you can get.. find a level reference on the scope most likely the top turret.. apply some common sense, make the gun level and then match the scope to it. In my mind rating this product just boils down to accuracy and build quality. I saw several reviews claim their copy was not accurate and the two didn't get common readings. I took a new quality (not cheap) 24-in carpenters level layed it across my dining room table and shimmed one end with a few pieces of paper for a perfect level reading. Then sitting both the wheeler scope levels on top of the Carpenters level they all three got the same perfect reading. So for me there's no complaints with accuracy, they appear to work as they should with no issue that I can see. Build quality to me doesn't seem to be the best or what you might expect from Wheeler. Lightweight molded plastic frame and plastic bubble vials. I think it'll will do what I need to do if taken care of and put away and kept protected with my other gun tools. Nothing really wrong with them they just seem closer to $6 or $8 than the $13 to $14 I paid. I've seen buckets of tiny level keychains at box store checkouts for a couple of dollars and they seem very similar but they are accurate. I'll agree with another reviewer that the most accurate approach is probably to level the gun and then set up a weighted plumb bob a few yards away to align your vertical crosshair with. That's the way I've always done it and probably always will since it's always worked well. Plan to just use these wheeler levels to level the gun because I'm tired of balancing 9-in torpedo levels and taking up valuable storage space in my gun toolbox. Ultimately you're trying to level the crosshairs and this way you're working with the crosshairs which is way more important than the body of the scope. I'd say if you use them all the time maybe look for something a little nicer and if you're a weekend hobby shooter like me they'll do the job and there's no point spending a lot more money.. I've got many other wheeler products that have served me just fine.

Easy to use system
Finally got this out to mount a scope and was very happy with the quick and easy leveling this allowed me to do. Functions well, the scope bubble is easy to read, and it seems to be pretty durable. The magnet is strong enough to keep it in place, as well.

only works on some rifles, and needs work out of the box
This is a nice pair of spirit vials mounted on cheap nylon bases with embedded magnets. The extended magnetic base was level and true, but the turret level was off about a quarter of a bubble. You can check yours by putting it on a flat surface that's close to level, and spinning it 180 degrees in the exact same spot. It should read exactly the same regardless of the direction it's pointing. Both of the bases showed some rough (100 grit or so) sanding marks from the factory. I spent about 20 minutes with piece of 800 grit sandpaper truing up the turret base, and another 5 smoothing out the extended action base. Expect to do the same for yours, and make sure to sand them on a piece of glass or other truly flat surface. They worked great on a Tikka t3x, but the action base doesn't fit in the action of a Weatherby Vanguard. If I were buying this again, I would get one of the barrel clamp types instead and just level scopes in two steps. It takes an extra 2 minutes, but will work on any firearm instead of one that happens to have a perfectly flat and horizontal action. It would also sit fine on a picatinny rail or scope bases if you used really tall rings. The action base is .388 inches thick on mine.
