Q: Can I place the receiver behind an acoustically transparent projection screen?

OK - I placed a 4mm ( 1/6 of an inch ) thick piece of glass in front of my IR receiver head .... this had no effect on the ability to control my Video Recorder ... which is in another room at the end pf a 15m ( 49ft. ) audio extension cable. This Repeater is great - don't buy a cheaper one ... I have had to throw my cheaper one away - even with my Video Remote next to the IR receiver, it did not work. This Repeater is very good - it is switched off when not in use, is controlled from across the room when switched on, and from a distance of 5.5m ( 18ft ) works perfectly.
