Surprisingly punchy in its sour portfolio; however, it is surely a hit among myself and my friends who have tried it. Would definitely recommend monster black ultra to anyone looking for a tart and fruit forward energy drink.

Finally got the last of my ultra collection completed but monster tasted flat and just overall just no taste not sure if was expired.

7.2 out of 10, it's actually a VERY decent flavor. The black cherry is spot on, incredibly tangy and sweet, and actually has a HINT of citrus to it. It actually tastes very similar to Trolli sour gummy worms, no joke! The only complaint I have is that the whole can has dents & isn't as perfect quality as I would have wanted for my can collection, but it will still do. All in all, I'm satisfied with the flavor, it's definitely better than most other Ultras I have tried. I would DEFINITELY buy it again one day ⚡️🍒 ⚡️ I'm quite grateful for this being on sale, because honestly this flavor is SO hard and rare to find in person, I'm from a city in Texas, and this flavor literally isn't available anywhere in the entire state.

It taste like dull cherry but my favorite is still Ultra Fiesta Green.

A little disappointed as these were supposed to be the end-all-be-all of Monster Energy according to internet fans and I found it to be more underwhelming than anything. It's a basic cherry candy flavor but make it soda. Definitely prefer other flavors. I mean, without sugar, it's a nice treat now and then, I did enjoy them for the record, just for the kind of expensive price, I would pick the pink grapefruit, peach, etc. over these.
