I have been using the bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer for 15 years and has been my go-to for the base of my makeup. I started using this in high school and I still love it today! It is clean, lightweight, and I never feel cake-y at the end of a long day with this on. My skin is extremely sensitive and I deal with hyperpigmentation, but I have never dealt with irritation or reactions with this. It is light coverage while still smoothing out my complexion. I like that it adds enough shade and smoothing to make me feel a bit less dull on days when I don't feel like wearing any makeup and how good of a base it is when applying more makeup. I have tried other brands, but I have always come back to bareMinerals for a tinted moisturizer because of the smooth texture, amount of shades available, and the overall feel it gives me with a natural look.

I have reordered this so many times in different shades depending on the time of year and I love it!! My skin has trouble absorbing certain creams, serums etc. but drinks this up! There are many times when all I need to do is wear this with some mascara and I’m good to go. I find that in the summer, this is my look, and I don’t need much in the way of any other foundations, concealers or powders. This gives me a nice “glow” and covers up minimal blemishes in my skin (for significant blemishes you will need to use concealer or a thicker foundation). This doesn’t sit on top of my skin, it gets absorbed in very nicely and leaves my skin feeling very nourished and soft! I’ve even “slept” in this and haven’t felt gross in the morning, with a severe need to wash my face (although I do not advise sleeping in any “makeup”). I adjust the color based on time of year, and sometimes use a powder on top to set it and give myself more of a matte look if I don’t want a dewy look. It’s very light, and a little goes a long way! I also don’t need to layer this with other foundations etc. and would advise against too many layers of makeup, as it then defeats this tinted moisturizers purpose. Color is also so close to my skin color, that it didn’t make it difficult to find colorways that worked for my skin tone. Very pleased with this product, it is my constant!

I’m not sure what I thought when I bought this. I was expecting my skin but better however that’s sort of not the case. The color match is perfect however, when I blend it in it disappears and not in a flattering way. I’ve found that using a beauty blender works better for me personally vs using a brush or my fingers. Super lightweight and light coverage. It doesn’t settle into my fine lines or wrinkles. I can’t really answer about what it does for the texture of my skin as I’ve had to add a 2nd layer to get the type of coverage I prefer for my rosey cheeks; that’s usually where I place the 2nd layer. The texture of this isn’t runny nor is it too thick. When I place a bit on the back of my hand when I apply, it doesn’t run so it makes application easier.

Great foundation! It goes on smoothly and looks natural.

I’ve always been a fan of BareMinerals, going on 20 years now. Couldn’t love this tinted moisturizer anymore. Perfect for when you’re just running out of the house, or good base under loose powder foundation for a touch of extra coverage with full makeup. Very lightweight and leaves my skin glowing. It looks at first like a liquid foundation but blends to skin tone once it’s rubbed in. A little goes a long way. Highly recommend.
