Great value, sturdy, and sleek
Getting set back up to work on jewelry again, and needed an inexpensive, but quality bench. I received this surprisingly quick, and came in perfect condition. It was easy to follow the manual, as well as to put together, though a little time consuming. I’d say between 45 min to an hour, from unpacking to finish. Like a few other reviewers mentioned, I did have one hole I couldn’t line up, though it wasn’t anything that will matter. Even still, feels very sturdy, and provides a decent sized work space. 11/10 would recommend

Great Jewelers Bench
This is a very nice jewelers workbench. I bought this for my wife as a Christmas gift. She was very surprised and uses it daily. The bench went together in an hour or so and I followed previous reviews I had read and applied a high quality wood glue to all joints as I assembled it. So far, so good. I was leary of the quality as it was made in China (as most everything else these days), but the wood was good quality and everything fit well. I was upset with the shipping costs though. Amazon advertised one shipping cost, which was why I bought it here, but it was a misprint, and the company supplying the item contacted me that they could not sell me the bench and ship it at the cost advertised. I ended up paying three times the advertised shipping fees due to the heavy weight. If I didn't need it for Christmas, I would have shopped around for a better price. The bench price was great, but the shipping cost made it comparable with other sites/sellers. Overall, I rate the jewelers bench a five star and the shipping as a one star. Buyers, watch the shipping fees!!

DO NOT BUY THIS WORKBENCH
If you are a jeweler and looking to have a good sturdy workbench, stay away from this light material that is made with pine. For $360 this should have been made with oak or something better. It is too tiny, wobbly, hard to assembly (took 4 hours to align everything), damaged areas, patched up areas with some sort of wood filler. And the metal catch tray they say that it is metal, it looks like they lined it up with some soft aluminum paper that is already damaged. What a joke. They changed the color of the photo to make it look like it is made with maple wood, hence the warm tones on the product photo but it is oak and light. The skirts suppose to add some weight to it, but they are paper thing, provides no value. SAVE your money for something larger, better. I had to invest in something $45 to install a tool because the top wood and one under for the surface don't align. Already costing me more money to get around. I wish I didn't buy it. This product should have been $170 not $360+

Decent LIGHT Workbench, Not For Heavy Duty Work
This is a decent light (NOT "heavy duty" as stated on the boxes) workbench. A few flaws stated below. I bought this unit so I could have an air-conditioned light work area during our torturous Texas summers which invariably produce a sweltering garage. The bench arrived in two boxes clearly marked "Box 1 of 2" and a different "Box 2 of 2" (eventually). Both can be carried upstairs by a 170lb man like myself. Assembly is pretty straight forward but some of the drawings are a little confusing. Pros : Quick and fairly easy set-up , just the right height to keep you work near eye-level, steel-lined bottom drawer should be great for soldering. Note that not all models have the steel lining so check with the vendor before buying. Also, the arm rests are convenient once you figure out how to use them (OK, I'm not a jeweler). Cons: Work top appears to be pine which is an awfully soft wood for the purpose. Will be buying a rubber mat for protection. The top pull out drawer (which for some reason has a semi-circle cut out of it) has a sub-shelf held in place with an adhesive tape. That only stuck together for two days. Now held in place with a few dabs of silicone sealant. The two-box method was confusing for my vendor who sent me two box "one of two"s initially and a third box" one of two" before figuring out what box "two of two" actually meant. That chewed up a month or more. Hope you have better luck than me.

I'm very happy with this work bench
I'm very happy with this work bench! It offers great value for the price. I found it easy to put together... it took time, but all the parts were present, the directions were easy to follow, and it went together without any adaptations. It is very sturdy and solidly built. I made the mistake of shortening the legs prior to construction, thinking that it would be too tall for me (I'm 5' 6"). Because the bench pin sits 1.75" below the desk top, turned out it wasn't necessary and I have propped it back up. Hope this info helps someone. It is a great starter bench.

Pieces need adjustments to fit.
It’s an ok bench but not easy to put together due to lack of precision. I don’t see the value for what I paid but unfortunately there is not much of a choice in the lower cost market. Maybe another company can come up with something better. The drawer doesn’t have a curve. Even though solid wood, there is filler all around it and in some areas it is falling of. Overall it will do the job but it’s too expensive for what tou get, so don’t expect a deal.

Not without it’s flaws. A Beautiful Bench
It was hard work to assemble correctly. Took a few hours. Ensuring the bolts are lined up before you screw them all in helps. Nothing was out of alignment. A few shelf pieces had some damage but wood glue was a quick fix. I expected some damage due to the reviews. Overall it’s a great bench and suits my needs. The drawers are packed horribly leading to breakage. More packing material is needed but it is what it is! :) good price quick shipping.

Solid wood, heavy-duty bench!
Solid all-wood bench (clear pine). This is Grobet's deluxe model. It has no pressboard and no particle board. Solid wood top with all wood legs and full skirt. Three utility drawers assembled. Pull-out tray with two shelves. Two-arm rests and a lined catch drawer. Economically priced for what you get. Dimensions: 39" W x 19-1/2" D x 39" H. Assembly was quick and easy, although you need to use some common sense. The drawers and bench top frame came preassembled. You do need to tighten all the screws on the top frame (not stated in the instructions). Also, while assembling the skirt, you need to improvise how to assemble the panels with dowels on each end. Tip: don't tighten the screws all the way until all parts are fitted, then tighten all the screws.
