What app can I use to control this away from home as my app only detects the thermostat when my phone is connected to my home Wi-fi?

I can control my stat remotely as it’s added to the Google Home app. Read the setup instructions that come with the device

Can this be used remotely when out of the house ? Surley thats the whole point ? Some answers say can't be used out of wifi .

It used to work over 4G with an iPhone. I’ve even used it abroad. It won’t even work on 4G from my garden now.
