This Microfiber Mop is Magic..
First, I'd like to apologize to anyone who has walked on my tile floors. It turns out you were walking on a nice layer of caked on grime which I sincerely had no idea existed until this magical wonder mop changed my life forever. Seriously, I'd post before and after pictures but it's actually pretty embarrassing how much dirt this mop scrubbed up. Let's just say the mop water is pretty dark. Like, heart of Mordor dark. I told you it was embarrassing! Sheesh. I now know how it was that Spunky was able to fall in love with Rocko's new mop. I'm developing some pretty serious feelings for this Microfiber Cloth Mop. In fact, I'll just go ahead and put it out there that I'm ready to buy 1/2 of a BFF charm for the genius that created this thing. Let's just make it official, shall we? I paired this mop with the Quick-Wring Bucket by O-Cedar as well and they go together like peanut butter and chocolate. Like sugar and iced tea. Like Batman and Robin. Could you order this mop and use it without the bucket? Of course. But you may as well eat only peanut butter, sugar, and watch Batman fly solo while you're at it. Some things are just better together, you know? Hands down, this mop is a wonder. I love the way it cleans, how easy it is to use, and how easy it is for me to keep the microfiber cloth clean. All you have to do is pop it in the washer! I KNOW. I told you it was magical! I wish you the very best with your new Microfiber Cloth Mop and matching Quick-Wring Bucket by O-Cedar! Oh, wait, what? You haven't bought it yet? GO GO GO! You won't regret it!

It’s 100% recommended.
As someone who is always on the lookout for efficient and reliable cleaning tools, the O-Cedar Wet Mop caught my attention. After using it for a few weeks, I can confidently say it has met and even exceeded my expectations in several areas. The mop head is incredibly absorbent, making it easy to tackle spills and stains with minimal effort. The microfiber material also does an excellent job of picking up dust and dirt, leaving my floors spotless and shiny. One feature that I particularly appreciate is the mop's lightweight and ergonomic design. It is easy to maneuver around furniture and into tight corners, ensuring a thorough clean every time. The adjustable handle is a thoughtful addition, allowing users of different heights to use the mop comfortably without straining their backs. The mop head is also machine washable, which is both eco-friendly and cost-effective in the long run. While the O-Cedar Wet Mop excels in many areas, there are a couple of minor drawbacks. The mop head can sometimes be a bit tricky to attach securely, which might be inconvenient for some users. Additionally, it would be great if the mop came with an extra replacement head. However, these issues are relatively minor compared to the overall performance and value this mop offers. Overall, I highly recommend the O-Cedar Wet Mop to anyone in need of a reliable and effective cleaning tool.

Overrated.
I have been using the O'Cedar microfiber mop with the quick ring mop bucket for about 2 months now. I am not a huge fan of this mop and mop bucket combination. It does not clean my floors any better than the Quickie cotton mop that I have owned for 15 years. It is economical. It is not a bad mop. However, I think the Quickie mop with the cotton mop head is far superior. I also own a 3 Gallon Behrens Galvanized Mop Bucket with Rollers that you step on to remove the excess water from the mop head. The Quickie cotton mop with the Behren steel bucket with rollers is a superior combination. I was able to remove more water from the mop head faster. Because the bucket is steel, I can add scalding hot water in the bucket to really sanitize my floors and to help to break down dirt and debris. The quickie cotton mop head absorbs more water. I am able to cover more surface area because it absorbs more water and the mop head is bigger. My floors got cleaner quicker. The Quickie mop with the cotton mop head is more gentle on my hardwood floors and on my kitchen tile. I can bleach the Quickie mop head to sanitize it when I am done to remove germs and bacteria, and to make the mop head white again. Perhaps the version of the O'Cedar microfiber mop with the mop bucket with the divided water chambers would have been better. I prefer the Quickie cotton mop with a steel buckets with rollers to O'Cedar Microfibre Quick Ring Mop bucket combination. I was not impressed by this mop or the quick ring mop bucket.

UPDATE: The Handle is actually telescopic
UPDATE: My husband determined it is telescopic and adjusts at the end where the mop head attaches. However, it is not marked in any way and is so tightly screwed on that a vice grip was needed to loosen. I have used it to mop the hardwood floor in the laundry room and it was good for getting right up to the baseboard and into small places where my round spin mop doesn’t. I had to wring the mop as much as possible, otherwise it left the hardwood floors too wet. I am upgrading my rating from one to four stars. ******************************* I read a New York Times article about the best tools to use for cleaning up after a holiday party. They named this the best mop and linked to the Amazon page for this product. I’ve unboxed it and the mop handle is 32” long (2-1/2 feet). There appears to be no way to extend the handle—how can that be right? If you are under 5’2”, this might work for you. In some of the reviews, the telescoping handle is mentioned; in a few others reviewers complain that the handle doesn’t telescope and is way too short to be of any use. I’ve called the O’Cedar customer service line and it went to a voicemail that was almost inaudible. I’ll have my Harvard engineer husband look at it in case I am missing something.

Don't Hesitate: It also reaches corners and baseboardsI
I bought the O-Cedar Microfiber Cloth Wet Mop and Quick Wring 2.5 Gallon Bucket with Wringer based on the recommendation of "The Wirecutter," and they do not disappoint! I think this mop is far better than a sponge mop: it covers a greater area in a shorter amount of time with the added bonus of reaching corners AND THE BASEBOARDS. It's easy to wash the microfiber cloth is the washer and air dry. I agree with other comments that the pole is a little shorter than expected, but it does not bother me. Also, I see other comments that it scratches the floor. It can scratch floors if you don't use it in the right way. It's meant to be swiped from side to side and not front to back (as you would a sponge mop.) The bucket and wringer are well designed. The bucket is sturdy does not tip when you press the mop into the wringer, and the wringer does a good job. There is no splashing.

Best Mop on the Market
This is my second purchase of this mop. My first one lasted a good 5 years, until the handle rusted and the top plastic cover fell off and we couldn't get it to stay attached. Unfortunately, I really appreciate that the mop itself screws on/off, and so can be washed in the washer. As it's microfiber, it's best to wash it alone (or with other microfiber items) and air dried to ensure it's longevity. This is the best mop in terms of size, handling, weight, and general usability. I've found others just aren't up to par—their too heavy, too light, have one of those wringer things attached, which never work well in my opinion, as their often left far too wet, or you end up using your hands to wring it out anyway. Finally I like this newer version of the handle, which has some texture to it this time round, and it seems to be even sturdier than the first. It's telescoping as well, and has a little hanger attached. I would say though that it is rather overpriced. But then again isn't everything these days?

Terrific mop!!!
Hands down this is the best mop I've ever owned!!! However, don't try using this without purchasing the O-Cedar quick-wring bucket ($15.99 on Amazon). Once you get the hang of twisting the mop in the wringer it's a snap, not to mention, your hands never have to touch the wet mop head. Microfiber does a great job of cleaning and lifting excess water from the floor. And, the mop head is machine washable. My home has an abundance of tile flooring, which I am able to clean in no time. I imagine that this mop would do a good job on wood flooring, as well. Before mopping I sweep and/or vacuum the floors to remove all loose dirt and dust bunnies. In the water (warm) I use a little white vinegar and a splash of multi-surface cleaner (for fragrance and sanitizing). I have not had a problem with streaking, except when I haven't wrung out the mop to damp mop over the cleaned areas. (I like to first get my floors nice and wet one small area at a time, and then to sop up the water by damp mopping.) Be sure to change the water in the bucket as it gets dirty. After you're finished mopping rinse the mop well in a clean bucket of warm water and wring it out. Allow it to dry with the mop head facing upright. Otherwise, it can develop a nasty mildew odor. But, that is true of all rag-type mops.

Put away your wand Harry, it's not magic, it's just a mop.
The corporate gaming of this mop's review is so blatant it's actually pretty amusing. I bought this after yet another home depot sponge mop broke on me. I figured I'd buy a nice string mop on amazon then I saw this. I took and took a flyer on it being better than the old fashioned mops and it's... okay, for the price. The handle is cheap, plastic, and short. The head is on the small side but the cloth strips are decently long and cover an acceptalby broad area. Beyond that, it's just a mop, it doesn't strip away some heretofore unknown layer of grime on tile. Actually it's pretty hard to use it to scrub stained or dried on spots b/c the cloth is so thin. You have to spin it into a tight ball then try to get the stick behind it for a few seconds before the ball unwinds then repeat. It worked fine on linoleum, tile, and hardwood (with murphys oil soap), but then it's a mop, The task being asking of it isn't all that complex. I wouldn't say this does the job better than a string mop. But it's fine for the price. I got the recommended bucket, and it wrings it out perfectly. Minimizing the amount of water left on the floor to dry. But again the bucket is cheap thin plastic that isn't going to last more than a couple of seasons I'm guessing. One major annoyance is the head keeps unscrewing from the pole as you use it. I found myself constantly spinning the pole in a clockwise motion just to keep the head attached as I mopped. I'm debating super gluing the thing on. But that'll prevent me from being able to replace the head, if they even make replacements. It's a cheap mop, and you get what you pay for. But it does the job about as well as other mops I've tried recently.

Misleading Description
The description claimed "Features a sturdy adjustable telescopic handle that extends up to 56 inches" but the handle that came with the mop has a fixed height of 45 inches. Extremely misleading and false information.

Absorbante

Good performance
Performs very well as only if you can make sure the ball of fabric is firmly attached to the stick. So easy and convenient to use that you want to mop all floors in your house every day.

Broke immediately
The way the mop head screws on is faulty. Broke immediately. Unusable

Love this mop!
This was a Wirecutter recommended mop. I highly recommend it. Too bad they don’t sell this in-store in Canada. I use this with this Bona spray and doesn’t show streaks on my laminate flooring. Wetjet shows streaks.
