I got rid off of my radio alarm clock because it was bulky and I was really only using it to look at the time since I use my phone to listen to the radio and as an alarm. But I didn't like that I had to get my phone to look at the time when I wake up in the middle of the night (which I do every night). So, I was looking for a small nightstand clock that would be quiet and that was not too bright, but that I could still read in the middle of the night. I'm impressed with this cube. First, it's a minimalist's dream come true: the cube is very cute, inconspicuous and would go well with any decor (I ordered the black cube). Second, not only does it show the time, but also the date and the temperature in carousel mode, but you can also choose to just have it show the time. Finally, the best part IMO is that you can set it up to be in energy saving mode and the time will only show when you touch the top of the cube or make a noise (like a clap, or verbal cue). The only thing I disliked was that even in the lowest setting the lights are still quite bright. But this can be solved by using the energy saving mode, which will turns the lights off about 10-20 seconds after you prompted the clock (by touching or through a noise cue) to show you the time. I don't use it as an alarm, so I haven't even tried the alarm settings (it doesn't have a snooze button, but you can set up 3 separate alarms to go off at any interval you wish). I really like this little cube. It fits my needs.

Love this freaking little clock!! Just what I was looking for. My cable company doesn’t have the time on the cable box anymore, so annoying, so I needed a little clock that would take up no room and this is perfect!! So small!! Some reviews say it’s to bright I don’t mind the brightness. It’s so cute you don’t even know it’s there!! You can adjust it where it just displays the time or just hit the set button once and it will show time switch to date than switch to temp. Very easy to set up. I use my cell as an alarm so I didn’t set it up for that so I can not comment on that but I’m sure it fine!!

Really nice little clock. Wasn’t sure about the white on white, but it looks really nice. There is a contrast. Fairly simple to program, I need to use the instructions just about all the time. Tried to use with batteries only, clock died out after a week. Only complaint is in my small bedroom, light is actually bright at night. Otherwise, a really good product.

This clock is powered by 3 AAA battery or a usb cord provided. The batteries only last about a week before they must be replaced. I think this is unacceptable for a battery-powered clock. I needed a clock for bathroom, so the usb cord is of no help. In addition, I do not like the aesthetic of cords. I bought it so it could be run by batteries alone. It's cute and small, but I need it to be functional not just cute!

Like everything about the functionality of this little guy - instructions clear, easy to set and use features, amber light. It is really better than I expected for the cost - the 'wood' finish looks a little cheap - but I am pleased with purchase. Update - this stopped working, I thought maybe I had bad batteries, so put in new ones, but it only worked for about a day then stopped again. When I moved the batteries around in position the light would come back on, but then go back off again. A short somewhere. Disappointed.

I really enjoy this product! I was looking for something small and modern looking. The lowest brightness is still a little bit bright for me at night but I can deal with it. I personally don't like the energy saving mode, I like to be able to look across the room and see what time it is but most of the time it is off when I look. I reset the settings by accident when trying to change the time for daylight savings and am having difficulty figuring out how to turn it off again. Don't know where the instructions are so I came back to the listing hoping it would tell me and figured hey why not submit a review at the same time. Overall, I like the product a lot but it is not perfect.

Compact. Surpringly attractive. Works as advertised. A very nice product! The instructions for setting time etc is non-intuitive but not impossibly so. Battery is for back up only. Plan to keep it plugged into a USB power port. A little too bright at night. Fine during the day.

For the price, I really like the look of this clock and it was easy to setup. My rating is strictly based upon why the clock doesn't constantly stay on. You have to tap it or shake the clock in order for the time to display. The voice control doesn't seem to be sensitive either so it's a waste unless you feel like yelling at a box. I've read some of the other customer questions about this and apparently you can change this setting. However no instructions by the seller are provided on how to do this. I would return this but the shipping to send it back isn't worth it. Just look for something else.
