Perfect for my 2yo. As long a you do it the way the picture is it works great!!! Doesn't slip when doors are pushed or pulled, keeps my kid out of places she doesn't need to be super easy to put on and use! Pretty strong touch string and seems to be prefect to length

This product is genius. Such a simple concept but it works so well! These locks came with easy instructions I was able to follow in about 10 seconds. I have it installed on the knobs of my apartment's bathroom cabinet and partner's bedroom armoire, keeping an extremely curious (& somewhat destructive) toddler from getting into things she should not. I can even sometimes open it with one hand, although one of the few negatives of this product is that I can't always open it with a single hand & closing it always requires two. The only other negatives are that I need to fix the length of the straps from time to time and the white color can look a little grimy fairly quickly (& there are no instructions on how to clean them). I knocked off a star for these. This latch will fit on a variety of knobs, but if you have knobs on your cabinets or furniture doors which are especially larger than usual, this product won't fit. According to the product insert, Kiscords do however have longer cords you can order directly from them. Great communication and quick shipping direct from Kiscords as well -- a socially responsible company making all of their products in the USA, offering great value in a two-pack. I've been using the Kiscords Baby Safety Cabinet Locks for Knobs for six months, and they really work! These locks have been a lifesaver in keeping my toddler out of the cabinets. I wasn’t expecting much with this item. My husband and I have a 3 year old who loves opening all sorts of doors. For doors that we adults need quick access to, we have door knob covers. But for other areas like our toddler’s bedroom closet, and every other closet in areas he hangs out in, we needed something to keep the doors closed and him out of the closets. We don’t have proper storage for things like utilities (cleaning etc) so it went in a closet that also had our mud room stuff. It has double doors like you see in the attached picture. Installing this is super easy. At first it’s a little confusing which string goes first, but in just a few mins you can figure it out. I have these installed on almost every closet door that has two doors with double knobs. We’ve had them installed for around 7.5 months now and our toddler doesn’t get mad (anymore) that it’s locked. Saves us some sanity in making sure if he’s running around these areas he can’t be a sneaky toddler and open it up, potentially getting into dangerous items or having a bunch of items topple on him. Only thing we were confused on was the quantity of the bag.. we ordered 5 but did not realize that within each of those bags include several.

The items is okay. I probably would not buy this item again. I was going to used them on my kitchen cabinet door but then resorted to not using them at all. My son likes to grab the end of the cord and either start munching on the ball at the end or trying to pull the cord. Although it is quite easy to install and use, I do not like the idea that my son ends up looking at it like a toy. I am afraid that he will somehow be able to munch the plastic off and choke on it. I do not want to take my chances so I ended up just putting it on a cabinet in a different room that he does not really go into. I ended up buying magnetic locks that I attached on the inside of the cabinet so I don't need to worry about him and the cord. It is funny that the display picture shows the cord in a cabinet that is up high... most kids won't even reach the top cabinets, it is the bottom cabinets that we have to worry about them getting into.

We bought this to help our night time wandering toddler from getting into things he shouldn't, and it's been wonderful! The two safety buttons keep it tight and prevents any of my toddlers from being able to open it, it has endured many tugs and pulls making it extremely durable, and it's easy to open for teenagers and adults so definitely functionable for the ages it should be.

In our previous home, we had Safety 1st latches that slipped over the knobs of our cabinets as we wanted to avoid drilling into the cabinets themselves. When we moved into our new house a few weeks ago, our knobs were too far apart to use the Safety 1st ones we had brought along (which we didn't much care for anyway...they would get stuck on occasion and led to lots of muffled curse words). These, however, are great. You get complete flexibility in terms of tightening and untightening, nothing to get stuck, and easy to use for adults, yet hard for the little ones to open. It's not the prettiest lock on the planet (it's not an eye sore either, and baby locks are baby locks), but it's functional and that's what it's for. So, far, I love the two packs I got. Gifted one lock to a friend at a baby shower (they actually worked great to help sinch up a big gift bag and give to her as part of her shower gift at the same time), and just ordered 3 more sets. I would definitely recommend these to my friends. There aren't a lot of great options out there for cabinet locks if you don't want to ruin your cabinets, and so far, these are my favorite.

I’m confused why this is sold as a baby or child safety item it. It was hard to see from the photos but it arrived overnight and is literally just one big child safety risk. It is a piece of string, which, if a child gets loose would be able to wrap around their neck so is a strangulation hazard. It also has 3 small plastic round pieces to it, all choking hazards. I’m shocked this is sold in Australia. My toddler would be able to pull this off easily.

Works well, love that they are simple for adults and you don't need to drill holes in your cabinets.

I use these on our wardrobes when our granddaughter comes to stay - just the job. Easy for an adult to release but not a child

Kiscords are easy to use and inexpensive compared to more cumbersome products on the market. Recommend highly!
