Make sure each sub is compatible with yout control pod first!
It worked for me just make sure before using this cable that your control pod actually works with each sub individually, if the pod tuns on and your sub has sound disconnect and repeat the process with the second sub if the results are positive on both then the cable will work. But if one of the subs doesn't work or pod doesn't function with one of the bubs during the above test then that particular sub and pod are not compatible and the splitter cable won't remedy that problem so don't even try using it. what I did is I purchased another sub that was a match to my pod and now all is great sounds amazing good quality cable and definitely a good value for my money no regrets here. Hope this was helpful

Works as expected
Very happy with this Y splitter, was able to connect my 2 logitech z5500 with one control pod, so far i dont see no issue with it. Now advise when pluging it in make sure to disconect both system from power, also check your power button in the back of the subwoofer to make sure both are on!! If one is off is not going to sound

Carful! You might damage your speakers!
I was so looking forward connecting my both Z-5500 into one setup for many years and I order this splitter cable together with extension cable from the same sealer for my two Logitech Z5500 speakers’ system. Unfortunately, this almost burn out my speakers. Here I what happened. When I connect both system into one with splitter and extension cable and turn both systems ON, for a minute everything seems to work fine but then I smell the electrical burn that start to come out from one subwoofer amplifier. I turn off the main AC switch right away! I disconnect everything and return into a normal sate, and I waited for 5 minutes. Thankfully it seems that my both systems survived but I will not try to connect them again using these cables. Not sure what is the problem, the Y splitter or the extension cable or some compatibility issue and I don't want to burn out my speakers. So sadly, I'm leaving only one star in the review.

Combined 2 Logitech Z-2300s
Splitter works as described! I used it to combine 2 Logitech z-2300 sets into 1 controller. Sound is pretty darn good and you can get used sets of these nowadays for real cheap.

Something is broken now.
So at firs it worked and after I turned one subwoofer off using the switch the other one which was connected to the splitter make some bad sound and turned off. The pod just went off lcd worked for few seconds, but with no pixels. The fuse is in the amplifier ok, the pod seems to work on other sub that was previously off. But one sub died I just can hear toroidal transistor sound , but it wont turn my pod. What part could be broken now?
