These authors actually make several textbooks - all of them excellent. The information is presented in a straight-forward manner, with color pictures, important details and terms highlighted, and A+ study objectives laid out quite well. They go into more depth than necessary on a few topics but not to an excessive degree and it's all useful information without any fluff. Great book if you want to become proficient in everything from troubleshooting various Windows problems, to computer repair, with a touch of scripting, networking, and security sprinkled in. Seriously a fantastic resource written by experts.

Got this book for a course I am taking to study for the CompTIA A+ certificate. The books does provide good advice and a in-depth explanation of each topics. I like the thinking critically and other projects at the end of each chapter to test your knowledge.

Very useful

The book itself arrived in great condition. However, the entire reason for my purchase was to have the access code, which did not come with this. That fact should be made clear in the posting, as can be seen in some of the other reviews.
