Weldental Chewtab Gentle Whitening Toothpaste Tablets

I will never buy toothpaste in a tube again. These tabs come in a refillable glass bottle-refills come in a recyclable/compostable cardboard pack. The flavor is great-minty and not too sweet. AND IT IS SO EASY to use these. Pop a tablet into your mouth, chew it up until no large chunks remain, wet your toothbrush, and go. I found it foamed enough to last the time I devote to brushing, but not excessively. My teeth felt clean after use. This is one of my new favorite products. I'm going to try all the other flavors. No plastic in landfills is the biggest win of all, but the product really is great.

I bought these for camping, as they are light and easy to pack, being basically tooth powder pills, but a big mouth like mine needs two. That being said, they have a nice flavor and work as described. I like the all natural ingredients, no throwaway plastics, and that they contain no fluoride.

I decided I wanted to use toothpaste tablets every day, not just for travel, and one thing you'll find if you are new to the idea is that the tablets don't fill your mouth with lots of bubbly toothpaste like you're probably used to. I'm not sure they clean as well, but I really believe the brushing technique is the most important part and I use a good Oral-B electric and I thoroughly floss. I really hate toothpaste containers. I love the taste of these tablets better than any other minty ones that I tried. Those who complain about the stevia sweetness I can't relate to. I hate the taste of stevia but I don't notice it in these tablets at all. I like that they are a bit sweeter than others. I also like that they crumble easily in your mouth. If I were to ask for an improvement, I would say they should be half again as large as they are, like the Hello brand. That brand is also very very good. Hello tablets are more substantial but harder to break up in your mouth. I tried another brand that offered strawberry. It tasted great but they were effervescent and create a sweet foam in your mouth that begs to be swallowed. Won't' get those again. I will continue with these Weldental tablets as well as the watermelon flavor Hello brand for the kids (and sometimes myself). I've also ordered the Weldental bubblegum flavor in my next subscribe and save order. Per tablet, this option is much less expensive than the mint ones in the bottle.

It comes in a little glass bottle with a whole bunch of little tablets inside. You grab a tablet, bite down on it. Then you chew it like a piece of chalky candy. But it's not candy, so you have to resist your impulse to swallow it until it dissolves in your mouth. It doesn't dissolve evenly so you're usually left with some tiny chunks that make you feel like you're brushing my teeth with wet cement. The minty flavor is very faint, so when you're done you don't have much of that fresh minty smell that makes your mouth feel clean. Instead, you get a little bit of dissatisfaction mixed with uncertainty. But it's not all bad, there are some good points too: Pros: - Very travel friendly. small tablets make it easy to stuff anywhere in your luggage - Environmentally friendly - Not messy - Excellent concept with a bright future Cons - Flavor is almost nonexistent - Chalky texture - Doesn't dissolve evenly, or all that well in your mouth - No foam (like normal toothpaste) that indicates that its cleaning. feels like you're just brushing with regular water. - Awkward transition to go from chewing to brushing Great idea, and i have no doubt it could replace toothpaste altogether. But will definitely need some improvements before that.

The tablets are perfect for emergencies and travel. The flavor is mild, and has a decent foam. The more you scrub the more it foams. For those of you that have used tooth powders, this is very much like a compressed version. Leaves teeth feeling clean. I am totally getting more. Glad it comes in a reusable container, even better it won't dry out like normal toothpaste.

I had never used chewable toothpaste before, but I'm in love with these guys. They cut down on waste (no plastic), ship in cardboard that can be recycled, and I leave a good taste in your mouth. Recently while travelling, I took a few in a smaller container and ended up not having enough. I borrowed my husband's regular toothpaste (Crest, in a plastic - ugh - tube). I couldn't believe how disgustingly my mouth tasted afterwards. I had this awful chemical aftertaste for a few hours. I guess after not using it for so long, my taste buds adjusted to not tasting the chemicals that I had never noticed before. Wish I would have found these sooner, GREAT PRODUCT!!!

I really like these tablet. First time trying them. First, I used a single tablet and couldn't get the same lather I do with regular natural toothpastes, so I ended up using 2 tablets each time I brush in the morning in order to get a proper lather to brush my teeth (and use a different natural toothpaste in the evening). So this 60 tablet bottle lasts 30 days. I crush the tablets with my molars, tilt my head back a bit, and brush normally so any of the lather doesn't spill out of my mouth. Ways to improve my experience: After brushing with these tablets, I definitely have a clean feeling in my mouth, but there's also a super sweet feeling that I don't like. Use less sweetener if possible in new formula. Or maybe it's just me. And since I need 2 tablets for proper lather, maybe make the tablets bigger, or keep them the same size, but make the bottle bigger with more tablet, or lower the price. Right now, the price is kind of higher than preferred. Also, the glass bottle is excellent, but do change the label to paper without laminate. I do like these tablets and will continue to buy the refills until I find a cheaper alternative.

In regards to packaging, there was a large amount of broken and disintegrated tablets in the bottle despite the presence of a a cotton puff. This attests to the fragility of the tablets and inefficient care with packaging and shipping. In regards to the product, the tablets are easy to chew and serve well for brushing. I initially purchased this to use with a vibrating toothbrush (mouth guard style) and can say that these do not work well for such purpose. However, they do with a standard manual or electric toothbrush. Additionally, I have found a use for these in remembering my work brushing routine at night by placing a tablet in my pill box with my night medications. As my pill box does not get vigorously jostled, I do not have to worry about the fragility of the tablets.
