Franken Fran, the soft-hearted patchwork girl created by the notorious Dr. Madaraki, loves nothing more than helping others. But her idea of "help" might not be the same as yours. Even when her experiments go according to plan -- which is never guaranteed! -- they often have unanticipated consequences. Playing with live and death can be messy business, but whether in her lab or making house calls, you can always expect the unexpected with Franken Fran. Review: Radical science! - Absolutely questionable ethics, absolutely lovable gags! Every new episode gives you a little insight on anatomical knowledge and questioning just how far Fran and Veronica will go to make the impossible possible. Review: Perfect condition with a ....mostly....perfect story - Franken Fran 3/4 looks impecable like i took it right from a store shelf. The content is throughly enjoyable sci fi, medical, and body horror mixed in with clever comedy and surprisingly likeable characters all in a mostly episodic format. I will say though that the second half, 4, wasnt as good as 3 nor 1 and 2. Something felt a little off and maybe a little too ridiculous in the stories. That being said it was still very good and i'd recommend it

Adorea gives and takes back
In this volume the body horror continues. We get even more scary and horrifying creatures. My favorite chapter is Lust, for overuse reasons.

Contains all the same gore, medical-horror, viscerality, and shock value of the previous book, but beware of feels. This series is really not known for its happy endings. One story in particular about a little girl and her dog was so emotionally brutal, it would make a biker gang weep. But anyway, do give this a read. If anything, it'll be a nice break from whatever you're used to reading, I can promise you that. The girl on the front is Adorea, and again you may think this book is gonna' have some weird Frankenstein-mummy ecchi scenes. But it isn't, sorry lol. Adorea is actually a walking talking organ storage unit, and those zippers all over her body are to facilitate expedient and efficient extraction of whatever organs are needed for the current surgery. But yeah she's pretty deeeeece
