Exercise without exposure to coronavirus!
I’m not sure if I can add much more to that already said, but briefly: Be aware, it arrives as one very heavy coffin-like box. The treadmill is quite easy to put-together, and does arrive with the belt pre-oiled. It was up and working in no time. If you are unfamiliar with treadmills, then I really would recommend reading all the information. The safety cut-out device if overlooked for instance, might well leave you scratching your head whilst not understanding why it’s not working, and similarly so, the locking bolt. You can raise and lower the platform at the touch of a button, and change speed with equal ease. I find the treadmill to be very well made, robust and quiet in use. For some inexplicable reason, my treadmill was constructed incorrectly, instead of ‘speed’ buttons on one handlebar and the ‘incline’ on the other, mine were both labelled ‘incline’! Contact with the Reebok support team, had an engineer out and fixed in no time at all. The Support team and engineers are both great, and one couldn’t wish for more. Do take the time to register the product for the two-year warranty. At under £400, I believe the ZR8 to be a good value buy, and would hope that it will last for years. Would I recommend at that price? Yes, I would.

Quality Treadmill (but delivery a nightmare)
This is a substantial treadmill with a nice sized running area and with everything you need on the retro looking display. Not very noisy either which is fantastic. The only thing I've noticed so far is when I have my phone connected via either the usb point or headphones socket the speaker makes a crackling humming sound, so I find music is best played through your phone. Very simple to put together just the final bits of the machine. The only thing to note is that the courier company that delivers the treadmill are awful, they initially dropped one end of the box on the ground then told me I have to pay extra to get it put in the room of my choice when it clearly states that it was included in the price. They told me I could take it upstairs bit by bit muself even though it says on the box to keep it in box until in position and that its 90% already built which I informed the delivery men. They said it wasnt feasible to take upstairs without even looking to see. Me and my partner struggled to get it upstairs ourselves and had to eventually remove it from the box to fit it in the room which you will find its actually okay to do as long as the box is facing the correct way up. The box is extremely heavy, 3 people would of been better to deliver it not two twig men who clearly had no strength between them! The box weighs 89kg Depth: 29cm Length: 219cm Width: 85 cm Ps. Amazon customer service was excellent in dealing with my complaint in regards to the awful delivery service.

Overall good - detailed review below
So this came in a MASSIVE box carried by 2 guys, one of whom dropped the heavy end (motor end) with a good thud on my path. I was like "here goes...it's damaged". Thankfully not (or so far not appearing to be). The treadmill is pretty well protected inside which is good as the box was a bit damaged on arrival. You want them to place this box down the right way up. If you're reasonably strong then you can manipulate it yourself as long as you don't need to carry it anywhere. Mine was on the side (wrong way!!!) - I have this all on video btw (Amazon?!?)...anyway, it lies flat on the floor. You have to build it in situ or at least while still partially in the box. As mentioned, the box is massive with big thick bits of protective polystyrene and even planks of plywood in the more sensitive areas plus heavy duty staples. Anyway, make sure it's the right way up then cut box apart carefully until only the floor piece remaining (that's ok, you build on it and then remove at the end!). The treadmill belt is secured by protective straps until finished. You have to assemble the computer bit to the bigger console area using screws and joining some electronic ports together (colour coded so really easy), then left the 'arms' of the device and secure in place then place console on top (two people needed) and connect the port from the console to the one in the leg (do not cut the cable tie here!). Thereafter, attach the decorative plastic finishings, cut the plastic straps over the belt and remove the locking pin! This is apparently important before any use. Not sure why. It restricts it going up and down so perhaps that's why but on a level it doesn't impact but remove anyway. Then...lift up device from the back (really easy). It locks in place. Use two people to remove th ecardboard box from underneath. Release holding mechanism using a light touch and it falls back down gently. Plug in and cross your fingers. Tada...treadmill ready. Ok, now the workings: So I've run exclusively in the gym on a treadmill for the last 3 years on a very wide and sturdy £15k plus treadmill. This isn't one of those. But, it doesn't feel super cheap either. Ok, it's not got a built in TV and the fan pushes out as much air as a 90yr old smoker but I can work around that. This is sub £500. Remember that. The treadmill belt/track isn't that narrow. Narrower than the gym one by about 10cm but I noticed when running my feel pretty much land in the same zone all the time so you don't really need a giant wide belt. The console is a basic but easy to read red LED one with integrated programme AND a USB Bluetooth dongle that hooks to the Reebok app on your phone to capture runs and simulate running on a road via maps and using the incline to simulate hills. Very smart but only tested the Bluetooth connection - which works. There's also a cable to connect to a standard headphone jack to play your music through the reasonable inbuilt speakers. I ended up calling Reebok claiming it didn't work...only to find I'd plugged the lead into the wrong port on the console (there's two...no idea why - one for MP3s and one for headphones ?!?) #confused. Anyway, chucked on Amazon Music Running Soundtrack and bingo, it's working for music. I use the C25K app and it dims the music when it tells you to start/stop running. The console tracks your distance in km by default and your time but my Samsung Galaxy Active does too just from movement. I log all in MapMyRide. The treadmill has metal along either side to jump onto to rest. I stood on it while it started and it gradually got going a 1km/h. There are set speeds and inclines but you can manually increase/decrease from console or hand bars. Speed increase/decrease is comparable to gym model. It even goes to a very quick 16km/h. Not for the faint hearted! Incline is good and it comes manufactured with a very slight incline which is meant to be better on knees and calfs. I prefer running on the 'flat' though. There's a heartbeat ba-boom ba-boom noise from the belt at slow speeds and when walking I think the belt is a wee bit slack as you can feel it lift with the foot but it all goes when running and Reebok advised the belt would slacken off after a few weeks (which you need to lube every 6 weeks or so with supplied lube) and to do so you need to slacken and retighten belt (eek...there's a YouTube video on this!). Not done that yet. Might tighten it a bit but the belt is brand new anyway so will likely loosen off. Running is fine. You get up to speed quickly. It might even be quieter than the gym when you land thanks to the air cushion. It also has an emergency stop clip in case you've never ran on one before. I've piled on the weight last year so lost 3 stone, put back on 2 but at just under 16st I'm within the weight limit by over a stone so I'm planning on only losing weight. I have this in my home gym next to a rowing machine and it's marginally shorter in length than that. I like that you can fold it up for extra room and it's super easy to put up and take down. It basically comes down itself. So far so good. A few runs in and it seems decent quality and everything works. Has 2 water bottle holders or 1 and a mobile holder :) and there's a tablet holder too but this would obscure the track dots on the display.

Great home treadmill
Waited a few weeks for this type of treadmill to come in stock and it was worth the wait! It’s easy to assemble, I am below average at DIY and managed to assemble it on my own in half an hour or so! The features are really easy to use, the buttons on feb left and right for altering the incline and speed are really handy. I haven’t used the programmes yet but have done 5 runs and an incline walk in the first week or so. The speed is really reliable, I have so far got up to 9.5 mph and it still feels sturdy (max speed is 10). The units appear in mph, I believe it can be changed but I prefer it now I’m used to it. Personally I think it’s great value, particularly when you look at those in the £800 plus range which only have a slightly faster speed and a few cosmetic features such as a reliable phone stand.

Brilliant!
Absolutely love this treadmill - now christened Millie in our house. Always ran at the gym and during lockdown was deeply frustrated at not being able to run so easily. Bought with some trepidation as hadn't been able to see Millie in person so to speak, but exceeded expectations. Excellent range of programmes so you can sprint, jog, walk, use the incline during any and all of the above if you choose. Feels very stable, incline goes up and down so smoothly you can barely feel the transition. Husband walks miles uphill on this happily plugged into podcasts, I sprint and as now at home can happily sing along tunelessly as I run. The fan is useless, as others have mentioned, but just bought a large fan and pointed it at machine so very happy. Pulse measurement not so great as slow to respond, and tend to use headphones rather than the speakers, (which are ok) but all in all really thrilled with how smooth the run is. Wish I had bought one years ago. Pretty easy to assemble - took two of us barely any time at all. Delighted!

Great treadmill for novices and experts
Very simple to assemble and it took about 30 mins to get it up and running (excuse the pun!). It is very heavy so be careful and get some help but there are wheels on the bottom so can be moved around. The power lead was a little bit too short for my needs so had to place the treadmill at a different angle but there's around a metre or so of length. The speeds are completely fine for all runner types and the incline works really well. It feels very sturdy so will suit all weights. The speakers are fine and work well but I tend to use headphone with my phone rather than the built in speakers. There seems to be a space for a fan on the main controller but this is just for show. Overall, I am impressed with this treadmill.

Amazing sturdy treadmill
Absolutely delighted with this treadmill, I looked around on every website and read a lot of fitness reviews because I do regular long runs, this treadmill got the best reviews and was said to be as good if not better than gym grade models. Having had it for four weeks now, I do agree. The belt is incredibly smooth and the soft landing technology really is worth it. Very easy to assemble, it’s all practically done. Doesn’t fold very small but it won’t do because it’s a sturdy bit of kit. Mine lives in my garage tho so this isn’t a problem. The settings are everything you need and you can also program your own, and the incline is smooth and works well. All in all I couldn’t be happier. There is one bizarre thing though, fortunately the other features are so good that I don’t mind too much, but there is nowhere to store, stow or stand a phone. This is weird because the treadmill comes with an aux jack, but as there is nowhere to stand a phone I’m not sure how you’re actually supposed to use the jack - no one at Reebok seemed to realise this was going to create a bizarre issue...

Good training aid
A no excuse machine! I had a Reebok iRun for 10 years prior to this, it was a good machine and the two year warranty was used a few times - new running board, new motor. Customer service was excellent. So, on the strength of that, I got this one. So far so good, very stable, easy to set up (I took mine upstairs then assembled) nice incline settings, perfect speed settings, forget the built in fan though, you can plug your phone or MP3 for music. I would recommend headphones as the built in speakers don't quite cut it, I find them too tinny. A very nice touch is the Bluetooth. I would recommend setting up Kinomap, the treadmill's onboard computer recognises this and you can take yourself on a virtual run different places in the world, 5k, 10k full marathons etc. The treadmill responds accordingly to hills etc. You can also use Reebok's app. All good so far. I hope it lasts as long as my last one.

Studio Qualität I Love it

Perfect fit
The treadmill has been delivered today, Amazon delivery was perfect - on time and the guys carried it into the house (>100kg) Super large package which scared me first from the dimensions but after it has been fixed the size of the treadmill was as expected and it was fixed by two people in less than 30 minutes. First test run went well, noise level is ok, the little fan is so soft i cannot imagine anyone uses it... I am happy so far and will update my rating in case I experience something weird over the next months :) happy running
