We have 4 beloved rescue kitties who have all reached "senior status." It is a new area for us, as we had only previously had dogs and our kids had "terrarium pets." When one of our female's developed a urinary infection some years ago, I didn't realize it until I read up on "why cats will pee outside the litter box." I immediately figured out who the culpret was and took her to the Vet. She diagnosed a bladder infection and put her on antibiotics and gave me instructions regarding what type of litter to use in the meantime. Mimi was still reluctant to use the litter box and so I decided to try Pee Pads and she began to use them!! To this day Mimi will use the Pee Pads which I place just outside the litter boxes. I also looked up suppliments I could give her for her bladder and found out that older cats can develop kidney issues as they age. I decided to try Maxxicat and one other brand. I mix the powder into their wet food twice a day. They didn't take to it at first - but after a few tries, they just began to tolerate it and now its just a part of their twice a day feedings. It smells good - kind of fruity, like cranberry, which is one of the ingredients. Tommy, our kitty that had high blood readings for kidney issues recently, after using this suppliment, had not increased after rechecking his levels after 6 months. I give it to all of the cats since they are all seniors. They are also very good about drinking water. (I have one of those fountains & they love it) So, I would recommend this suppliment to you if you have an older kitty - maybe start them on it before they develop kidney issues.

I am giving this to my 2 1/2 yr old cat for a big stone in his bladder and severe pain along with Nutramax regular strength Cat Cosequin which works for inflamation not just joints after going to the Vet and seeing a big stone on his xray. We were given specal food to feed him which my cat refused to eat. Told to come back in 2 weeks to see if the stone is desolving. if the stone is not the Vet would have to do surgery to remove it. My friend told me about this product that she's been giving her cat with bladder issues for a couple yrs now. She said it helps her cats from getting bladder infections, which was a constant issue for her before using this everyday. So I immediately ordered this product. . It did start to help after a few days. We gave it to him in the morning and evening. He stopped having issues being able to pee, no more blood and not in pain. He started playing, letting us pick him up again and not walking around crying. We will be going back to the Vet for another xray to see if the stone completely desolved. Both my cats ate this with no problems. I mixed this with food or just water along with regular Cosequine. They loved it. We are going to continue to buy this product to give my cat on a regular bases now once a day to help him from getting anymore stones or bladder issues. This is a Good pproduct we are definetely are going to keep buying this.

I have an older fixed male rescue that pees on everything and his urine is very strong smelling I have tried numerous items to help him. After the 1st day of this he pees less often and the odor is not as strong. He doesn't seem to mind it as I mix it in his wet food. I'll continue to use as long as it works!!

For the last 4-5 years, my 11-year-old female cat has made 8-10 trips to the litter box to try to pee every night. She vigorously fought the meds that the vet prescribed for her - to the extent that she wouldn't even come near me - and she refused the two or three other food mix-in meds that I tried to give her. Still, based on the review for this product, I decided to give it a try. I'm really glad that I did because she absolutely accepts the mix-in AND - after all these years - it has cured her problem. I DID have to be patient and wait for 3-4 weeks before I started seeing significant improvement (after all, she'd had issues for a LONG time) and I used the “saturation” dosing (basically double the weight-specific quantity) recommended in the instructions - but after four months on this product, I can say with absolute confidence that it does work. And both she and I are very happy about that! 7/9/24: Just wanted to say that my cat has not had a single urinary tract problem since she started on this product. She is as happy and healthy now as she was when she was 4-5 years old. Thank you Maxxipaws!

I used a few times then shoved it in the cabinet for a few months. Came to realize it was one solid block instead of powder and could not use it anymore. The date is still good and I kept the moisture absorbent packet in the container the whole time. It's a shame since I barely got any use out of it.

I happened upon this product by accident. Aftermreading all the info and a lot of the reviews (good & bad) I decided to try it. My 7 year old female tabby developed a uti anf we have spent the past year trying to find a dietary program that would work for her. Nothing worked probably because she would not eat it! She is small in stature and she was loosing weight. And I was noticing other changes both physical & mental. I had decided to stop purchasing the prescription foods because the majority of it ended up going in the garbage. I couldn't see the point to the purchases when the weren't working. I was looking for a cat laxative because that was her most recent complication when an Amazon pop up came on. The MaxxUtrat arrived two days. I returned to normal food and added the supplement that first day and she ate it all. From that first day the change in her physically & mentally fantastic. She is back to her normal weight. She is back to enteracting with her brother & us humans. Best of all she better!!!! Please don't ever stop making this product!!!! Thanks to your product I have my baby girl back!

***Another update to my last review. This product is fantastic. I've been using it for three weeks, every other day with my cats, and the urine output for my older cat has increased significantly. It's nice to see after having lost a cat to a urinary blockage. ** I wanted to update my review after my cats had a chance to try this product. They seem to enjoy the taste as I mix it into their nightly feeding of canned pate. Both cats seem to tolerate it well, and urine volume appears to have normalized in my older cat. I am pleased with the product so far. I also received an email addressing my concerns about the size of the jar. The distributor explained the content is as stated and that the jar is larger to allow for placement of instructions. I am happy as long as my cats are healthy. So far, so good. *While I have not tried this with my cats yet, I did want to post a review of the amount that the container holds. I just opened the jar, and I was extremely disappointed that for the price, the jar is only half full. I very much dislike what has happened to the packaging of late with many products we buy. However, I’ve yet to open a container such as this to find it half full at the onset. I hope it works and my cats like it! Else, my money most certainly will have been wasted on a half jar of product.

My cat with urinary crystals struggles even on his prescription food. I bought this supplement in hopes it would help him with his discomfort and mixed a scoop in his wet food once a day. 5 days later he was clogged and lethargic, pushing as hard as he could but nothing would come out. I had gotten a different supplement in the mail that morning thankfully and just two pills of it saved his life. Do not feed this to your pets with urinary crystals, it’s not worth the risk.

Visiblement c'est également valable à donner immédiatement lors d'une vraie cystite bactérienne. Le traitement est très peu cher comparé aux doses qu'il contient. Nous sommes obligés de lui donner quotidiennement pour faire une longue cure et ce flacon dure plusieurs mois. Pour les personnes dans notre cas, la passiflore en poudre glissée dans la pâtée aide aussi énormément les chats anxieux, une gélule de 200mg par jour divisée en deux prises.

This was literally a life saver for my cat! I have a male cat who was needing frequent trips to the vets and emergency vets for not weeing costing us a fortune! He was on a special urinary diet but gaining weight- a vicious cycle. I read the reviews for this and we gave it a go, and it literally saved his life and us thousands of pounds. We sprinkled it on his food daily, following the guidance on the box and he was back to weeing like normal! He has since got a lot better and lost some weight so we dont use it as much any more, but theres always a tub in the fridge just in case. If youre in doubt or your cat has urine issues I seriously encourage you to try this!

Hace menos de un mes que lo estoy usando; así que de momento no puedo decir si es a la larga eficaz o no; pero lo que sí puedo decir es que ninguno de mis dos gatos ha notado el sabor del producto, o bien sí que lo han notado pero les gusta. Lo he utilizado mezclado con comida húmeda y también espolvoreado por encima del pienso. Y se lo toman bien de ambas formas. De buenas a primeras el bote parece caro, pero contiene 60 gr. y la dosis máxima diaria es de 1 gr en gatos de 5 Kg o más. Si el gato pesa menos la dosis diaria es menor. Así que cada bote dura 2 meses o más (dándolo cada día). Después de dos años de uso re-edito: mi gato que tiene más de 12 años no ha vuelto a tener ninguna infección de orina en estos 2 años. Antes tenia 1-2 infecciones al año. Desde que lo toma, prácticamente cada día, ya no ha vuelto a tener infección de orina.

Avevo bisogno di una cura per i miei gatti con cristalli di struvite. Alla femmina (5kg) somministravo 1 misurino e al maschio (8kg) 1 misurino e mezzo. Questo per due volte al giorno nella fase di attacco (ovviamente potete dare tutto in una volta! Ma io preferivo dividere in mattino e pomeriggio) Invece, i primi giorni di cura e anche nel mantenimento consigliano di dimezzare le dosi, quindi ho mantenuto le stesse ma una sola volta al giorno. Tutte queste informazioni le ho trovate sul sito ufficiale di questo prodotto. Ho mischiato la polvere negli snack liquidi che trovate anche qua su Amazon e hanno gradito molto, anche la femmina schizzinosa... Purtroppo non sono riuscita a coprire il periodo di cura suggerito dal mio veterinario perchè il prodotto è andato sold out.... Ho fatto in tempo a comprare 2 soli barattoli e finirli. Ora sto continuando con un altro prodotto, comunque mi sembra che in questo mese e mezzo abbiano reagito bene!!!

Sehr schnelle Lieferung. Dose ein wenig groß für den Inhalt, aber ändert nichts an der Qualität. Mein kleiner Tiger hatte eine schlimme Blasenentzündung, 2 Msl Schmetzmittel und Antibiotika innerhalb von 4 Wochen vom Tierarzt bekommen. Hat nicht wirklich geholfen. Spezialtrockenfutter bei Blasenentzündung hat sie nicht vertragen, Spezialnassfutter für den Fall wollte sie nicht fressen. Also zu Anfang 5 Tage lang morgens und abends je 1 knappes Löffelchen über ihr Nassfutter gestreut, ein Schlückchen Wasser drauf und alles vermischt. Sie hat es gefressen. Der Geruch ist für Menschen relativ neutral, nicht unangenehm. Ihr hat er nichts ausgemacht. Nach 5 Tagen Dosis auf je 1/2 Löffelchen morgens und abends reduziert. Nach knapp 1 Woche kein Blut mehr im Urin gehabt und keine Beschwerden mehr. Mittlerweile kriegt sie es präventiv alle 2-3 Tage ins Futter. Bereits nachbestellt. Darf vorerst nicht alle werden. Sind zwar "nur" 90g in der Dose, diese sind aber sehr ergiebig. Würde und werde es wieder bestellen. Es ist auf jeden Fall einen Versuch wert. Meinem Minitiger hat es jedenfalls sehr geholfen.
