Does the job butโฆ
I gave this 5 stars because it did its job and was well made. However, there is a process to set up and having more people to help makes set up easier. Pros My parents and I were able to sit under the Grande and were shaded. Another couple on the beach with had a Neso and it was the smaller size. They fit perfectly and because of the smaller size Iโm sure it was easier to set up. Loved the whale print! The carry bag is small and can even fit in a suitcase. A second set of poles can fit in the bag just fine if you wanted to raise the back corners. Cons: It took about half an hour for just me to set up while everyone else on the beach had fun watching me! Although I had set this up at home in my backyard the beach is much different as the wind provided a challenge. Make sure you stretch each corner as far as possible in the shape of an X, not an H. Really, really fill the sand bags and sink them or they will slowly slide towards the poles when you lift the poles. I had been to the beach earlier in the morning to have my coffee and set up my three chairs. By the time I got my parents to the beach people had crowded around us. The Grande takes up a considerable amount of realestate bc you really have to stretch out the corners. At one point I jokingly said to the family behind us, pretty soon Iโm going to have to throw this corner sand bag in your lap to make this work. Others who had similar set upโs put their tents further back on the beach so as not to obstruct other peopleโs view. We like to be up front to see the ocean so then we are that family blocking other peopleโs view. Face it towards the wind but that might compromise your view of the ocean! Did it provide shade once standing, yes but couldnโt use the extra set of poles as that would disrupt the front two poles. And my dad was less than interested in helping me. So, I guess you have to weigh how much time you have to try make it work. How many people do you have to help you? How many people to keep shaded? I really wanted to keep this but ultimately I donโt want to spend the time trying to make it work. My sister in law brought a CoolCabana and had hers set up in a minute!

So easy to put up.
We used to take our 10'x10' expandable canopy that took 2 people to get it up at the beach because of wind. It was heavy, took up much space and hard to get into it's case - outside of metal rusting is salt air. Was going to the beach and was going to rent a canopy. Looked online at beach rental for this type of canopy (didn't want the one that the wind keeps the back side up - too much noise) and it was $90 for the day. It was just 2 of us and looked at this Neso brand, 9'x 9' that was only $40 more to buy and thought, "Why waste money on years to come." It looked high quality and was so easy to put up, comes in a light weight small bag that can't be more than 5 lbs with poles inside. What I like most about this kind of shade is, the footings are so far out, it keeps people from setting up RIGHT NEXT TO YOU. Some instructions and video's show laying out the whole thing before filling footings with sand. If it's real windy, it will be hard to keep it in place. I would fill one front footing (facing the beach), then stretch the other front side over and fill it - but not digging a hole down into the beach yet. Stretch out the back footings one at a time to fill. Once filled, move and highly stretch out to where you want it. Then dig a big hole for the footings to sit in and cover with that sand. Only have to that if it's VERY windy. Just lift the front, put the poll about 1 to 2 feet from front edge, stabilize polls at an angle (depending on wind) and Whaa-Laa! Taking down is faster. Am going to use when camping in state parks (no wind) and just put rocks in the footings. Would think you need to be careful not to snag the material around trees - we'll see. The 9'X9' is great for up to 3 people, but could fit maybe 2 more if you purchase another set of poles (What I'm going to do for next trip) for the back to make a big off the ground square. Definitely worth the money and saved our keister's from sunburn.

Compact and easy to setup
Good overall. Strong winds can likely make it collapse. It would be nice to have a total of four posts to make the shade higher so one can walk underneath it easier. Seems durable and I like the easy and quick setup. The small and light size is nice for carrying to the beach.

Zudem nimmt das groรe Segel etwa 20 Quadratmeter Platz ein, man braucht also viel freie Flรคche.

One of the best investment for beach days. Provides very wide shade and good wind resistance. Setup and dismantling is very easy. I was a bit suspicious about sandbags, but these sandbags are quite heavy and provides good resistance, no need anchoring. I usually setup for cross wind direction (even though it is suggested to setup the front face to wind, it does not work for me due to the sun and sea direction) but still works perfect. Fabric is very firm and flexible. You can feel de huge difference under and out of the tent. I was a bit suspicious if the brand is overpriced but no, quality makes the difference. Maybe I will try the chairs and other staffs.

Our family booked an all-inclusive in Mexico and heard that deck chairs were usually spoken for by 6am. We bought this product so we could have shelter from the sun and it turned out to be a life saver. It's good quality, easy to put up, and provided enough shelter for 5 people to sit/lie comfortably under it. (we also bought the OCOOPA Sandproof Beach Blanket for 30 bucks on Amazon as a ground sheet which worked great). Lots of compliments on this thing. A Mexican guy even wanted to buy it for full price. It did fall down a couple of times during the week when the wind shifted and stiffened but we eventually got the hang of it. You really need to bury the sand bags to keep it strong and face the thing into the wind as much as possible, both of which are easy to do. It fit easily in my suitcase and gave us a great shelter on the beach. The fabric of both the NESO shelter and the OCOOPA groundsheet is light but strong. The included tent pegs for the groundsheet are a bit short, but they worked. Great product. Recommended for a great beach shelter. Could also be used anywhere you need sun shelter (but would need either rocks/weights for the sand bags, or good tent pegs). Be aware that the footprint is pretty big with the extended lines for the sand bags so you couldn't really use this on a crowded beach (see pics).
