Outstanding for the Price
For the price, this is incredible. It's obviously made of cheap plastic material and isn't made to be thrown around, but it works for what it's designed for. There are 31 chimes, but almost every single one of them is corny and obnoxious. I MIGHT consider using a couple of the holiday ones (I think there are three) during Christmastime, but beyond that, the only bearable chime option is the first, which is your classic doorbell sound, repeated twice. The volume control doesn't change much, but the chime is plenty loud enough to fill our 1100-square-foot apartment quite loudly, and I'm sure it would do fine filling even more space quite well. The ability to add a custom label is a nice touch, and it does come with an adhesive velcro strip and screws for mounting both pieces to the wall. Overall, it's a good, simple, cheap, reliable doorbell. Can't complain at all!

Ding Dong.....Avon calling!
These little contraptions are great! If you don't have a doorbell and no money or motivation to call an electrician to hook one up, I recommend getting one or two or three of these! I purchased one about 3 yrs. ago for my brother who lives in an upstairs apartment. I don't wanna' go up the stairs and bang on his door to get him to come out (I pick him up as he works for/with me) so he just hooked this up and I keep the remote thingy in my car. I pull up and press the button (sometimes I press it a whole bunch just to bug him!) . It has worked for 3 yrs. and hasn't defaulted at all. I was super surprised because the price is so reasonable and I just didn't think it would last. I ordered this last one for my parents who also pick him up on occassion and I didn't want my dad climbing the rickety stairs to get him. It works very well too. And it has a slightly different tone, so my brother can tell who's coming to get him. I would recommend this item. It would also be fun for a teens room; a rec room; maybe a business.

Ghostly doorbell
I rate the doorbell minus 0 star but they made me mark 1, But I don't lie so it is below 0. If you would like to go nuts then this is the product made for you! I highly recommend it. For example, it rings all by itself which is great if you don't have any friends. You won't feel alone or get bored. And the people that you are conducting business with on the phone will think you are very popular because it rings maybe (If you are blessed) 15 times a day and I know it's not my service dog playing tricks on me because he retired and I live alone. That is I think I do!!!!!! Seriously, this is the worst product I have every bought in my entire life. Please do not buy this, it will drive you insane.

Doorbell training for my dogs! :-)
This little gem is exactly what I was looking for to help me along with doorbell training for my two dogs! We had been training for calm manners at the front door whenever the doorbell rings, however, my clever pups were able to discern between "training sessions" and real-life doorbell ringers, mostly because training sessions were spent in front of the door where I'd have to pop out and push the doorbell myself (pretty good clue that there wasn't a stranger at the door). Because I've recently relocated to a new area, I don't have a lot of helpers nearby to do the doorbell ringing for me, so I started looking for a wireless doorbell that I could use to create a more realistic training scenario for my dogs. This Voye system that I bought is perfect- very affordable and works just like I was hoping. The one thing I was a little disappointed about (and reason for docking a star from a perfect 5-star rating) was that the traditional ding-dong ring repeats twice for each push of the button (ding-dong, ding-dong). Most doorbells, including my own (which I'm trying to replicate) only chime with one ding-dong, and I'm hoping that over time my dogs wont learn to tell the difference (they probably will, but hopefully by then their manners will be better). I was also surprised at how many different chimes you can choose from, including the traditional ding-dong, ding-dong-hello?, and an almost infinite selection of songs ranging from well-known classical pieces, Christmas songs, Happy Birthday, traditional Asian songs, and several songs I wasn't able to identify but sound very much like they came from oldschool Nintentdo video games, which kind of makes it fun to play around with. :-) Bottom line, I'm not using this as an actual doorbell (outside), so I can't comment on it's qualities for that function, but as far as a useful tool for dog training, this is absolutely perfect, and if anyone is looking to buy for this purpose I highly recommend it!

No More Yelling!
We bought two of these to put in our kids' bedrooms to "ring" them for meals and such when they are in their rooms distracted by electronics or friends, and no amount of yelling up the stairs can get their attention. The units are plastic, loud (even on "low"), and, yes, the tones are annoying and "tinny" sounding, but the kids liked choosing their own tone, and "Happy Birthday" and several Christmas tunes are available to change things up in the future. My concern when ordering these--since they do not have a "band" switch--was that both units would be operated by ONE doorbell button. This is not the case. Each unit--ringer and doorbell--have a UPC-like code sticker on them (instructions indicated to make sure the stickers matched each other)--and, fortunately or by design, our two units had different codes on them, so I can ring my son's room without also activating the chimes in my girls' room and vice versa. Both the ringer and the doorbell operate on batteries that are accessed by opening the BACK of the units, so I used 3M double-stick mounting tape on the BOTTOM of the ringer and propped/stuck the unit on top of the wooden molding on each kids' closet--I didn't want to have to drill holes to hang the unit, and I didn't want to use mounting tape on the back of the unit which I would need to remove from the wall and risk damaging the wall when the batteries needed replaced. Overall, even only having the units for a little over a week, we love them, and even if they only last a year, I would probably buy replacements ever year at this price--the peace of not having to yell is worth it, and the kids love it when they get an opportunity to "ring" for their brother or sister. Lastly, our doorbell buttons are hung in our 1st floor kitchen and the ringers/chimes are pretty much directly overhead on the 2nd floor, so I cannot speak much to range. Both the blue doorbell button light up as well as a little green rectangle light on the ringer when activated (but the little green light will probably not get anyone's attention unless they are looking directly at it when it's rung--however, again, the chimes are loud--realizing that we are only looking to "ring" one room and not an entire house). I also do not believe you would want to install the doorbell on an exterior surface, unless it is VERY protected from weather. These units are cheap, but work exactly as we hoped they would.

Nice selection of chimes
I needed to replace a doorbell. A few positives and a few negatives. + This one was a good price. + There are some short chime selections. + Another plus was ease of installation. - It does seem to be made really cheaply, but it's been working well now for over a month. - A few of the chimes selections are really lengthy - like several minutes, which to me is way too long for a doorbell to chime. - One thing that was not mentioned in the description was that it needs to be out of direct sun and rain. For most doors this will be an issue. It is for ours. Though there is a small overhang, it will get wet when it rains if there is any wind whatsoever. And yes the sun hits it directly. Doorbells are on outside doors, so they should be made to withstand the elements.

I have bought several of these.
I buy these for my dad, who is disabled, so he can ring when he needs assistance. They are nice and loud, wireless, cheap and simple. I have had a couple that have broken after some use (oddly started ringing nonstop without pressing the button/failing to ring), but honestly these are such a good price, so I keep buying them. A lot of the caregivers that come to our house have asked where I got them. If you are looking for a classy or elegant doorbell, this isn't it. If you're looking for one with a classy sound, this isn't it, either. If you just want something well priced with many tones that is very loud, then buy this. Although it is unfortunate you can't just have one speaker for multiple doorbells, the speaker is quite loud so even though the speakers are in different parts of the house, you can hear all of them everywhere. There is also no volume control, so be advised. Interestingly, some of the doorbells ring more than one speaker, others don't. Probably a defect, but it works out for my family. The ring tones range from just a ding dong to a long section of loudly played fur elise.

Rarely works
I have had nothing but grief with this doorbell. While the sound options are good (there are well over 10 of them) and the volume setting is nice, none of this matters when it doesn't work when pressed. At first I hung it in my hallway where the old doorbell had been and it refused to chime there and we assumed it had something to do with the electric wires in the wall. I moved it, and for a few days, it worked fine. Now, if the chime is stationary for any length of time, it doesn't work. The only way to get it to receive the signal is if I move it around. I've tried putting it all over the house, including directly next to the front door and have had the same results. Not sure what the problem is, but it's very frustrating. Cheap alarm, and I got what I paid for.
