how to sharpen blades

I've had my Magic Bullet for almost five years now. Although I don't know how to sharpen the blades - I've found that you can replace the blade base fairly cheaply! Most base styles are available for a few dollars on Amazon, here for example: http://www.amazon.com/Stainless-Bullet-Blender-Juicer-Replacement/dp/B00EV68HR2/ref=sr_1_32?ie=UTF8&qid=1418583289&sr=8-32&keywords=magic+bullet+replacement+partsYou can also find blade base and cup combo packages, replacements for the power base, for the blade base gaskets (that keep your cup from leaking while blending) and even the little base gears ( http://www.amazon.com/Gears-Replacement-Magic-Bullet-Power/dp/B00DDXX36Y/ref=pd_sim_k_16?ie=UTF8&refRID=0QK5KTE5WVW6CFDX1RF1 ) I always keep a stash of the rubber gasket seals for the blade base on hand ( http://www.amazon.com/Replacement-Gaskets-compatible-Original-Bullet/dp/B002XPWVNO/ref=pd_sim_k_6?ie=UTF8&refRID=1HX9BXKPCR9NA68J6WVA ) I check once in awhile because a few times a year I find them for almost nothing as Amazon add-on items. I was astounded when I searched and saw just how many Magic Bullet components can be replaced this way. Hope this helps!

Can it mix all types of vegetables into a drink?

Yes, - I use mine to make drinks with apple, pineapple, kale, strawberries, spinach, bananas, etc for health drinks, but it is not a juicer, so don't know about raw carrots...cooked carrots, broccoli cooked potatoes - yes - made cream of broccoli. Will do ice, frozen berries, etc. alsoBob/CA
