Chios Mastiha Tears Greek 100% Natural Mastic 20gr Medium Tears

I had to write a review on this due to so many negative feedback from others. If you want chemical, plastic-y gum to chew on, really shouldn't be looking at mastic gym anyway. This stuff is like crystallized hard sap that gets soft with the warmth of your mouth and chewing, however the gum is still tougher than regular store-bought gum (hence why many use it to work out their jaws). The initial taste is a strong and earthy, for about a minute. After that, it's a very subtle flavor resembling the initial taste. I personally really enjoy the very natural flavor. This gum can be used and reused for several days, on and off throughout the day. My kids also love it, which is great because it's good for the gut and strengthens their jaws. You only need two or three small pieces for a nice sized piece of gum to chew on. Will definitely keep buying this gum.

Better than I expected. The reviews for this had me a bit nervous but it's a great product. Especially if you know and understand what you're buying. It shatters in your mouth at first and then gets kinda sticky and then comes together as a nice thick chewing gum, but you have to stick with it for a few minutes. If it doesn't come together and stays sticky adding in another pieces helps pull it together. The flavour at first is not great but it fades pretty quickly and becomes very faint and nice. The consistency is kind of like beeswax when you chew on honeycombs but more firm and longer lasting. This one can be chewed repeatedly over the course of a few days (it will shatter again when you leaving it and come back to it). We just make sure we brush our teeth a bit before we chew. On average I chew the same piece for 1-2 hours a day for 4 days. I bought this for my whole family to use (us parents and our three kids ages 13, 11 and 9) for our oral health, digestive health and as a jaw/facial exerciser. The kids didn't like it the first minute or two but then they really enjoyed it and chew it all the time. They chew it for 30+ minutes a day. After about 15-30 minutes of chewing I can definitely feel it in my jaw muscles. Great product!

It is nut the gum that I was looking for. Too expensive and not worth it at all.

Dust flakes came out when I opened the package, and each piece was so hard and brittle that it breaks immediately as I bit on it. They taste bitter and get stuck in your teeth like biting into a hard lollipop, These are definitely expired or not kept in the right environment.

If you are looking for a mastic gum for jaw strength this brand is not it. There a very few hard pieces and most are very sticky and soft I’ve had to spit out most of the bag and brush my teeth.
