mel Dreamed by melissa Women's Pop Bow Ballet Flat

These are simple ballet flats with no particular arch support. I don't really worry about arch support, but I've spent 6 hours at a time in these, walking around big cities, and except for them being a little tight toward the 6 hour mark (to be expected as the feet swell), they were pretty good walking shoes. If you need arch support, you should size up and use inserts as you would with any little ballet flats. I wear a size 8, regular width, and these fit like my other size 8 shoes. They are very cute, and I get complements on them all the time. I love that they are completely made of rubber, so I wear them if the roads and sidewalks are wet - so I don't have to ruin leather or cloth flats. They are easy to slip on and off, but they stay on my feet (unlike some other flats that stretch out and flop off my heels, making it difficult to walk quickly.) These and the other pair of Mel rubber flats I ordered are GREAT! They seem to be of good quality. Since they are just one piece of rubber, I don't have to worry about the sole coming away from the upper. They are a light color, though, so they attract scuff marks easily. I cleaned the scuffs off with rubbing alcohol, but now the rubber isn't as shiny as it used to be. A little bit of a bummer, but they are still very cute shoes. Even if I wear them without socks, they don't get stinky - these and the other pair of Mel flats I ordered have a pleasant, perfumey scent to them that reminds me of scented rubber erasers. This seems to counteract potential foot-stink or rubber-stink. I also usually wear them with little no-show mini-socks, so that may help. I plan to buy more Mel rubber shoes like these, since they have proven to be durable and comfortable. I'm really happy with these.

This is the first time I purchased a mel shoes. It fits well and it's quite comfy but if you do not like the scent from the shoes, then beware. It's quite strong and lasting. This shoes is also not suitable to wear when it's raining.

These shoes are just too adorable, the color is a beautiful yellow, not neon. I read previous reviews and some people claim that these would rub against the skin, that hasn't happened to me yet. They do run a bit wide and do not offer much support, but I have wide feet so they are not uncomfortable for me.

Too large! I want to return them!

Cute shoes but not for those who need arch support. I have narrow feet and they fit great in that aspect but I imagine that those with normal to wide feet would be uncomfortable.

Love Mellisa shoes! I am a vegan, so these shoes are perfect for me. I am a size 8 generally and did purchase an 8. They fit perfectly. I also have a narrow foot. For someone with wider feet, they may fit tight. But they are plastic and soft, so sort of mold around your foot. Color is amazing. And they smell like berries. All Mellisa shoes smell like berries. Buy them if you are thinking about it. You won't regret it!

I was really unsure about these shoes when I ordered them. I was worried that the plastic would rub blisters on my sensitive skin but I could not have been more pleased. First of all, has anyone else mentioned that the shoes are scented? SCENTED! The plastic is not plastic, but more of a rubbery/vinyl/pvc flexible and comfortable material. Comfortable and totally worth it.
