Works great.
I installed this inverter in our truck camper and it does the job intended with no problems. In the confined space it does make a little noise but not as bad as I figured it would. Recommended! Update, June 2023:: Now using it in a Class C motor home for extra power will boondocking. While running a small TV and Blueray player, and using the phone app to monitor power usage, it actually showed zero watt usage throughout an entire movie. I never heard it run at all. I've run a coffee pot and the microwave with no problems. I'm powering the inverter from a new 100ah LiFePo battery powered from two 150w sola0 panels. This takes the load off the house battery when boondocking, at "off-grid" RV sites.

Solid
Replaced an Ampeak inverter with this. The Ampeak was bells and whistles, but poorly engineered. It was finned, but made of plastic, so it ran hot and fans were constantly going. This inverter is finned with aluminum and stays cool. Even in a hot shed, under moderate load, the case was cool to the touch and no fans. Also really like the toggle switch for power. If my battery runs out, this will automatically come back on once battery charges up a bit. That is awesome. It seems really well put together and the focus seems to be on durability.

It works, but the connection cables and ground wire are way too short
So, I got the product to get me through hurricane Dorian. I tested the product out prior to the storm. Connecting it was fairly simple and powered one refrigerator, one fan, one lcd TV, a light and multiple cell phones with wattage to spare ..... So I am happy with the product. I did try to make a cup of coffee (Kerig), it worked but I had to turn off all other connections as it alone sent the power meter up close to the yellow - But once the water heated, as expected the power meter dropped. So it worked. At 1400 Watts continuous, Coffee makers are power hogs. Since the car was running the entire time, i was not too worried i would kill my battery.. Based upon the load rough calculations/estimations (Watts and Amps) I was felt like my alternator could handle the load. Bottom Line - it definitely works, is reasonably priced and will power the minimal things you want. To protect your equipment you need to know your alternator output, you car battery output, and the wattage of your appliances to ensure you dont break something. Also, the instructions don't specifically say to connect both of the red and both of the black cables, but you are supposed to! You absolutely need longer cables and ground wire so that you can keep the inverter out of the elements. Oh, and you need long extension cords!

mobile app is a novelty at best
Seems to work ok. My setup allows for the unit to be turned on when the vehicle is on and the unit is off when the vehicle is off (most normal application I can think of). However, if you want to see the details on your device you must place the power switch in the off position for bluetooth AND you must use your device to turn it on. If the unit is already on (switch in normal on position) the device cannot connect. Another example of selling something before you know what you are selling. I've opted not to care about the app (uninstalled). I haven't seen smoke yet. All fans appear to operate properly.

Didn't work....and heres what it did.
Need an inverter to run some small power tools 'off road' ..... basically a 4.5 amp drill and a 15 amp circular saw. This inverter was rated for 2000 running watts and 4000 starting watts. ...sufficiently more than enough to run those tools. I installed the unit directly to a fully charged deep cycle battery and tried to run the 15 amp circular saw. It turned up in about one half second to full RPM's and stopped instantly. The high pitch alarm came on and the red light. I tried it again several times with exactly the same affect. Then I tried the 4.5 amp drill with exactly the same affect. It also seemed very "warm" to the touch I notified Amazon which issued a return shipping label. I dropped it off at the UPS yesterday and this morning I had an email from Amazon that my refund was complete. EXCELLENT ! This was probably a single manufacturers defect and other units probably work just fine . Make up your own mind....but I won't be buying this brand in the future..... just sayin'.

Best bang for your buck!
Performs well for the price. I use it mainly to power a floor unit air conditioner. Sprinter van w/220amp alternator, extra type 49 agm battery, and I used 10ft 2awg cables from the main battery to the extra one. I used the included cables to connect the 2000w inverter. Hands down the best inverter for the price. The app is amazing too. Allows me to turn on my inverter/air conditioner remotely!
