I don’t know about the 22 but it is a great holster for my lcp II 380.

Is a smaller paddle available for this holster? It seems to be to wide at the base considering the lcp 2 is so small.

Yes the paddle is wide,if you don't position it right on your hip it will dig into your hip when sitting. Ruger lcp 2 380 auto fits perfect.
