Great pool. Simple, no frills pool. Needed something to see if I really needed a pool without 100% commitment. This came out real nice. Nicer than expected. About 45 minutes to put up, then all day to fill. Watched a YouTube video to put it together and there were no major issues at all. The tee off the intake tubes leaked pretty good but the reviews had me expecting it. I used zipties to lift the tee higher towards the pools frame at the top and it completely stopped leaking. I think the water pressure is less now that the water isn't flowing down and bottle necking at the tee and the o-rings can handle it. So far this is a great first pool.

Nice pool. Prepping and Leveling the ground by hand kinda sucked but was worth it. Pool is nice and after a month has been holding up. Like others said, the pump is weak and barely keepin up so I intend to upgrade that. However, I knew that based on the reviews, and am overall very happy with the product. Wife and 1 year old approve! :)

I've had nothing but good luck with these Power Steel pools. My previous one was 8 years old when it was given away. I always disassemble in the Winter which lends to a longer lifespan. Now, for this pool. Shipping was fast and it came freight by appointment. The pictured ladder and over the wall skimmer were not included in this purchase. I prepped and leveled the ground with 1000 pounds of sand. Not leveling stresses the pool and makes it look terrible. The sand also makes a soft base. This pool came with pump/filter and a ladder. The ladder in my photos is not what came with the pool. The one that does come with the pool is sufficient, but a little on the cheap side. In addition, the pump that comes with the pool is sufficient as well, but also a little on the underpowered side. I will be purchasing a sand filter/pump in the not too distant future. This pump barely has the pull to make my over the wall skimmer effective. This is why I gave my overall rating 4 stars. The pool itself is sturdy. I love the stone pattern in the liner. Assembly is easy and it is a one man job. It took me about 2 hours to assemble at a nice slow pace. The steel bars are connected together with plastic joints and plastic pins. They seem sturdy but we will see if they hold up to the test of time. For some reason, this pool has two inlets that converge into one heading to the pump. I'm not sure why this is, and I'm not a fan as I use an over the wall skimmer and having a second inlet robs some of the suction from my skimmer. I will be making a modification to this in the not to distant future as well. Over all, I give this pool a B+. For under $600 with everything that's in the box is not a bad deal. The ladder and pump might be a little on the cheaper side, but for those who aren't as finicky as me, they are fine and will get you swimming in no time. There's always time for upgrades later.

DO NOT I REPEAD DO NOT BUY. Pool started leaking after less than 60 days of use then Amazon just pushes you off to the manufacturer. Pump is not as described. It does not have a timer and must be unplugged in order to shut it off (it advertised a pump with a timer built in). I contacted the seller and they stated that they would send me a new pump... They did not send a new pump instead they send a timer that must be mounted in order to not hang upside down (therefore allowing water to get into the plug). So frustrated and will never buy from them again. I bought this pool because it showed the same pump that i had had before and the timer was great (built into the pump cord). False advertising. Amazon was NO HELP and told me that I had to contact the manufacturer. Please don't waste you money here. Buy local since Amazon is no help and the manufacturer just doesn't help at all.

This was a great purchase! It was enjoyed by both kids and adults. It was easy to assemble and very sturdy. I would recommend putting down a foam mat under it. We can’t wait for the weather to warm up to use it again this summer.

The pool kit came with the liner, filter/pump, 1 filter, hoses, frame, ladder, and a cover (which is basically useless). The good: +Price is reasonable for what is provided +It does what it claims (hold and circulate water) +Visually looks ok +Pump is quiet +Pump is adequate for the size of the pool +Retains heat well +Reliable in first season Possible Negatives: -The frame will spontaneously begin rusting the moment the paint is chipped, scratched, or rubbed. The metal frame is manufactured in a way that will likely require you to replace part or all of it in the first 2 to 5 years of owning. -The filter is tiny- plan on rinsing aggressively at least weekly. I bought a huge box of them for $50. I remove the installed filter, swap out a new filter, wash the old filter, then swap it back in the following week. Each filter rotates through for 2 weeks and then thrown away. -There is no shutoff valve on the intake side of the pool filter- which means you have to lift it higher than the pool in order to change the filter (or you can dissemble the intakes and install the provided plugs- but doing so will wear out the pool liner more quickly and introduce leaks). I bought an extra shutoff valve on -Amazon so that I can shut off the water on either side of the filter- price $18. -There is no strainer, so everything that falls in the pool ends up on the bottom and starts to decompose, which makes keeping the water clear a real challenge. I ended up installing an after market filter to address this issue. If you choose to add a filter, make certain that you buy the extra adapters to connect it to the original filter hoses- I spent a ton of time learning the hard way. -There is a flap at the bottom of the liner that goes around the entire pool bottom. This flap collects debris. -It is important to regularly take a broom or brush around the bottom edge of the pool to prevent build up. It is an annoyance. -The frame holds the pool liner up, but it might fail if swimmers try to push off of the sides so having clear expectations/rules around how to use the pool is a requirement to prevent failure. Here is a list of things that I needed to make this pool work- _Pool pump strainer ($70) _Hand strainer and pole ($20) _Intex Pool vacuum ($130- that thing is awesome) _Extra filters from Bestway ($50) _Pool Shock ($20/bottle- you will need a bunch of these over the course of the summer) _Pool Chlorine pucks ($240 for a buck of them) _Pool Cover ($150) _Pool Cover reel ($150) _Raw supplies to prep and flatten the space for the pool to go ($1500) _Mat for the pool ladder to sit on to prevent ripping or puncturing the pool liner ($15) _Extra connectors/clips/fittings ($50) _Filter socks to prefilter heavier items before they get to the pool filter (makes a massive difference) ($20) Even with the negatives, I still think that this pool is a reasonable value as a place to start for people who want to try having a pool. My family has had a lot of fun so far.

I did a lot of research on above ground pools before I purchased one because I feel like everyone has horror stories with above ground pools. I came across this pool & it seemed like the best one to go with. I got nervous because I read some reviews where people did have issues with holes or missing parts, but most reviews were on the positive side. We ordered the pool & bought some sand to put underneath. Once the sand was placed, we began setting up the pool. It was a rather quick set up! The pool took about half a day to fill up. We’ve now had it up for about 2+ months & couldn’t be happier with the purchase! I had no idea about caring for & cleaning a pool. After about a week the water became very green. I did more research & bought some chlorine tablets & shock. After adding a half a bag of $7 shock & 1 chlorine tablet, the pool was brand new within an hour, but still cloudy as the chemicals were still working. I clean out the filter 1-2 times a day as we have a lot of trees around us that litter the water with debris. I shock the pool once a week. & I add 1 chlorine tablet a month. Once I got into the pattern of knowing how to care for the pool, it became super easy. Everyday I’m in the pool I scrub the walls with a scrub daddy I keep in the pool, & skim out all the debris. I’m the mom & I get more use out of this pool than my kids & they are in it nonstop lol. If you are wondering wether or not to go with this pool, do it!

5 Stars – Great Value for the Money! We bought this swimming pool for just a fraction of what a similar professional setup would cost, and honestly, we couldn’t be happier. It works just as well and does exactly what we need it to do—keeps the kids happy, cool, and entertained for hours! Setup was straightforward, the quality feels solid, and it holds up really well even with regular use. If you’re looking for a pool that delivers the same results without breaking the bank, this is absolutely the way to go.

I can’t believe this pool is exactly like the over ground pool I had before just a tiny bit smaller perfect for any yard why I need a tiny bit smaller!

We learned a lot putting this together. Firstly, we used dish soap to help put plastic pieces together, especially the ladder. It definitely needs at least 2 people to put it together. We put a tarp and a Gorilla ground sheet under the pool. (It doesn’t come with a ground sheet.) We put a couple inches of water in to smooth the bottom out and check the evenness of the pool. We didn’t know it comes with a shutoff but really should have 2. The hoses and clamps aren’t great. When we close it for the winter we’re going to change the hoses and fittings. We may upgrade the pump and ladder next year. Oh yes, don’t try to put on the pool cover until the pool is full. Just a word of caution: there’s lots of other things you need to get to run a pool. For this pool you’ll need a chlorine dispenser. You need a skimmer, pool cleaning equipment, testing strips, chemicals.
