Good option

This....is....a....MONSTER! Heats to volcanic temperatures. It cooks steak unlike any pan I have used in the past. It cleans up well. It is constructed with such huge density that I sometimes come back to it to find other pans on the stove have been pulled into orbit around it. Damn it is heavy, you could skip gym days after using it, the lid alone, no joke, weighs more than 3 of my other pans combined. I do love it though. I use it on an AEG induction hob and it obviously works a treat. I truly believe it will outlast me, especially if I accidently drop it on my toe.

If you like cast iron, you can't muss this, perfectly fit the lodge frying pan I bought previously.

Also fits blacklock pans. Needs further seasoning if going to cook with (non-acidic!) liquids in your pan as the condensation/steam will effect the underside of the lid. Recommend further 3 times oven season before use (all over) and thoroughly dry and lightly oil after each use.

These lids are great and I'd totally recommend them over glass ones. These cast iron lids not only look stylish, but they also lock in the moisture a treat! Self-basting tips on the inside also do a great job! However, I'm astonished at the price that these have gone up to on Amazon lately!! Thankfully I bought these lids when they were cheap, but the price they're at at the moment is outrageous!! Something's wrong when the cost of the lid is vastly greater than the skillet! These lids are totally recommended from me, but I'd discourage you from paying exorbitant prices for them!! :)

Lodge is my favourite cast iron cookware brand. Such good quality.

The description and photos do not show the basting spikes on the underside of the lid, which you may or may not want. The heavy lid was posted in a simple thin plastic bag which resulted in marks on the lid occurring during transit

Si tiene un sarten Lodge de 8 pulgadas, esta es la tapa adecuada, es pesada, pero es la apropiada para un sarten de la marca Lodge, yo lo uso diario y es necesaria la tapa para cocinar más rápido una tarta española, con rociar muy poco aceite de oliva precaliento el sarten y agregó los ingredientes necesarios, tapo con esta tapa, y listo, muy buena compra para complementar un sarten lodge de 8 pulgadas. Nota aclaratoria: aunque la opinión es para una tapadera de 10.25 pulgadas (26 cm.) También es para la tapa de 8 pulgadas (20 cm).

Fitted an 8” pot no problem. A well designed pot lid with dimples under the lid to stop moisture dribbling out from under the lid. Well finished with no rough spots.
