30 Watercolor Pen Set

A lot of fun, great for a beginner. I am a tapestry artist, and had been designing with colored pencils, and realized I wanted more mixing capability with color. My drawing skills aren't particularly strong, but I'm really happy with the results of my new designs. It's highly satisfying and encouraging to stick with it, so I believe I'll gain a lot of skill even just doodling with these. Only regret: should've bought the bigger set (54). I can't ever have enough color.

This set is amazing. I wanted a simple watercolor practice tool with no fuss and decided to give this a try. Knowing how great their watercolor tutorials are I was confident in quality. The paints are excellent, the tutorials are awesome and the cleanup is fast. I recommend to anyone who wants to get a feel for watercolor or a travel or practice set that doesn’t include the long set up and clean up!

I bought these on a whim to try out watercolor brush pens and I was blown away. Everything is great quality and the pens perform beautifully. I’ll have to try the tutorials, but so far I was able to get going with just the watercolor pens and some water in the aqua pens and I love them.

These markers are nicely packaged and come with a high quality paper pad that you use with a video tutorial program to quickly get the most out of the marker set. A nice water brush is also included. I added photos of the packaging, paper pages, close-up of a marker and water brush and testing samples I did with the markers. The colors are bright and do blend well with water. It takes a little while using them to get the color properly flowing with each new use and after contact with water. I did find the slight dryness to be a bit annoying while using the markers. I expected them to be juicier and react a little better with water contact. That wasn't enough to make me dislike the experiences using the markers though. They did much better using wet on wet than wet on dry in that sense, but the brightness softens considerably with water, as to be expected with this type of pen. I really like the quality of the paper and the tutorial, but do wish there were blank pages provided and that blank books of the paper were available for separate purchase. Overall, these are nice markers. I do wish they were juicier and that blank paper was available. The testing I did was done on Canson XL and Strathmore watercolor papers.

The colors are beautiful and easy to use. I really like that online tutorials are available. I could watch, then watch a 2nd time to follow along. The variety of watercolor pens are less messy that brushes and palette.

Wow, I love these. Such a great set! I bought these for myself, but they'd make an excellent gift. It's been years and years since I tried anything artistic, but I really enjoyed watching the tutorials and trying these out. They give you paper with outlined images to try out different techniques. Once you get the hang of it, you can do even cooler stuff. I am not an artist, I just like having something to do with my hands so I'm not on computers or my phone all day. This exceeded my expectations and were really fun.

A must have for every watercolor artist.

These watercolor brush pens are beautiful. Im very pleased with them. They are easy to use and work very similar to traditional watercolor, but with a few different techniques because you are laying down very saturated color. These are high quality and the colors when dry look very similar to my traditional watercolor paints as well. I also love that it comes with a practice pad and tutorials for how to properly use them.
