Great Quality and Versatile Set
This palette knife set is well-made and works perfectly for mixing and applying both oil and acrylic paints. The stainless steel blades are flexible but sturdy, and the wooden handles are comfortable to hold. Iโve also used them for cake icing and removing prints from my 3D printer bed, and they performed well in each case. Easy to clean and store. Great value for the price. Highly recommend for both beginner and experienced artists.

Palette Knives are Great Fun - Swiping Living Colors
This little package gets 5 stars because they are quality and well made. To find a desire to paint, I was hoping that the freedom of expression in palette knives would connect me to brushes. What I discovered was the incredible experience of applying color to a surface this way. Palette knives are great fun. I will admit that I mainly use the largest knife and have not figured out the specialties of the others. I will. I did make the transition to brushes, but I usually start out with a background swiped into a myriad of rainbow colors.

Beach scene with palette knife set
Iโm so happy I purchased this painting palette knife set!! Itโs super easy and comfortable to use. The design makes it easy to hold and maneuver! They are built sturdy and I was able to clean them quickly too. I canโt wait to use them again! Currently working on a beach scene canvas and will be adding shells and finds from the beach soon. This set allowed me to mix, scrape, and organically create an acrylic base for this painting!

Great deal, I recommend these for beginners
I looked at reviews on multiple cheap palette knife sets and saw a constant problem was the neck bending, the blades having sharp edges, and the metal attached to the handle coming off. I took a gamble on these since there wasn't a lot of info, and I'm glad I did. They seem surprisingly well built considering they were only a dollar a piece. The metal on the neck is thick and has no give, so that's good. The cup shaped piece attached to the wood seems to be well glued with no wiggle, so that was nice too. I felt all over the edges and they were all smooth except for one area on one knife, so that also exceeds expectations. The only problem is that the blades themselves are super-thin, almost like the metal on double-edged razor blades for old fashion safely razors. When I'm trying to mix or spread paint I can feel that when I apply enough pressure to do what I want it's already starting to temporarely bend a little. These knives aren't staying in bent positions from a little bit of pressure, with my light touch they're just more springy although a rougher painter might run into some more problems. Since I'm new to painting I don't really need to go out and get a good set yet, but I did buy one Bob Ross knife since it was on clearance and it was much thicker metal with no give and nicely rounded edges. All in all I'm happy with the set, I can mainly do what I'm trying to do, and I think these will be a good set for brand new artists. Pros: sturdy necks and handles, smooth edges Cons: thin flexible springy metal on the blades.

great for cleaning too! not just for art
i actually bought these for cleaning tight spots. it's stiff and gets into tough to reach areas. i clean tight spots, so these tools actually work great. i know they are art tools, but they are also great cleaning tools. i was thinking out of the box to get into tough to reach spots that needed to be thin but have some decent strength. great tools! and great price!
