For ease of installation, Root Industries has included all necessary parts and components for simple assembly. Riding around, I immediately noticed how smooth the ride was. Switching to the SCS fork and the clamp to an Air SCS Clamp ended up raising my bars a couple of inches and since I'm over 6 feet, it was a much appreciated bonus to the new compression system. One word of warning, though, my scooter had IHC Compression originally, so switching to the new SCS fork ended up requiring some additional hardware pieces, because IHC and SCS are not the same internally. Once I got the right hardware, the fork and Root Industries Clamp really improved my experience. One additional shout out...the customer service was amazing. When I was switching out the compression from IHC to SCS, I did not realize I needed the additional hardware. The customer service was extremely helpful, describing to me what I was missing and offering advice to ensure that the scooter was up and running with the right material. I couldn't have asked for more. I will be buying Root Industries in the future. Super pleased!!! Great product.
This is one of the best forks you can buy for the money. Some are more expensive, but this one is just as good, and costs less. Do your research before you buy. Service was great also.

Great scooter fork
Well made part for my sons scooter. He reviewed a few different ones before deciding on this one. He swapped out his old fork and is very happy with this Root Industries fork. Great price and shipped quickly.

HIC NOT INCLUDED
I was very excited to use this fork, it looks very cool. It said it came with HIC compatibility, but you actually have to buy the shim separately and It costs as much as the fork. Do not recommend

Amazing Fork! Bluray Beauty!
The pictures do not do this fork justice! - In the Bluray colourway this fork is absolutely beautiful! Not only is it light it is also sturdy too - taking all I can throw at it in the skatepark and I'm a heavy rider too. You may not know this, butthe fork only requires one allen key to fit or remove the wheel. This is due to the fork being designed in such a way that it is able to hold the nut in place while you tighten. Very convienient, saves you having to carry and fiddle with two allen keys for maintenance purposes. (Why anyone would buy a fork without this feature beats me!) The fork also has incorporated into the top cap a hard rubber spacer. This means when you tighten down the fork with your SCS clamp and bounce that scooter for the first time the scooter is really dialled and sounds like a basketball hitting the ground. Really well designed Fork from the masters that are root Industries!
