Exactly as expected. You need to clean them and them in water for at least one hour (preferably overnight). It takes a long time to cook. Overall, great fir diabetics etc

My go to forbidden rice brand. I love adding a handful to white rice and cooking it together to get purple rice. It's wholesome, fragrant and yummy with any kind of curry. You can also cook the rice by itself and eat it as a yummy dessert by drizzling condensed milk over the rice and adding cashews fried in butter.

-Its good but overpriced most in Manipur itself dont cost more than 200rs /- -Quality is good just beware of high arsenic concentrations. -Aroma is faint but its there. -Takes little longer to cook simple because of cover dont eat it entirely by itself its supposed to be mixed with white rice 20-80 / 30-70 ratio

Worthless product, doesn't cook well, instructions inadequate, don't recommend at all

The rice is expensive but I'm not looking to consume it like white rice. I wanted to have mixed grain rice everyday and adding 2 spoons of this makes the taste perfect. I think it might be a gluttonous variety. Not sure but tastes great and I really like the texture.

I read reviews that say it leaves colour. Off course it's going to leave colour. And that's how black rice works... certain amount of colour will run in the wash... just like how white rice leaves pale white colour... but the taste and quality is amazing! I've been a fan of blackrice and this is one of the best available on amazon
