it a basic toolbox but it was exactly what i was looking for! it has a very retro look to it which i like a lot and there is plenty of room for stuff. the lock seems very secure although i wish there were two. it is build very tough and the handle makes it easy to transport. it is a very functional tool box and looks very nice.

Great little toolbox for my RC portable box. Well made and has a certain touch of class being from Japan. It is metal and should be very durable for the long haul. It is very handy and functions well for my use as it latches securely and has a comfortable handle. If you need a compact toolbox and can spend a little more than a plastic box, I can heartily recommend it.

Well made toolbox with one compartment. The steel and clasp feel like very good quality. It will surely outlive me. The color green is beautiful! I’m very happy with this purchase!

I purchased 3 of these in 2014, filled them with tools for my then older teen sons, and gifted them for Christmas, thinking it would be practical, but not appreciated until they were older. THEY HAVE LOVED THESE since the moment they got them, and they have used them countless times. These boxes are fantastic, heavy duty, and hard to dent or scratch. My only wish is that they were just a little bit larger, because honestly, you just never seem to have enough room for all the tools you aquire, but for a good standard hand tool kit, this is fantastic. You should however note, there is just no way you are fitting a power tool inside this box, this would be exclusively for a small set of basic powerless hand tools.

Nothing more needs to be said. The perfect small toolbox. Durable, looks great, good storage capacity, don’t sleep on it.

I have several Trusco toolboxes, and each one is well crafted, durable, and dependable. I keep different categories of tools and supplies in them so they make organization so much better. One of the best purchases you can make.

This is the toolbox version one of those great, tiny old Japanese pickups you still see tooling around L.A. freeways: it'll soldier on forever, efficiently, as reliable as the sun. Looks great, in that 1970s Japanese pickup way, too: utilitarian matte paint, sturdy structure, solid hardware, looks even better with a few dents. I'm a photographer and primarily use it to carry tape, air blowers, wireless flash triggers, small hard cases with memory cards and filters, light meters, and a place to throw extra batteries, lenscaps. Good place to keep an extra mask and some sanitizer these days, too. Comfortable to carry on its own, or easily fits into a backpack, solid, lightweight and super versatile: sometimes I throw out the photo gear and pack a couple sandwiches, some fruit, and a flask and it makes a nice picnic basket, too.
