without a doubt! it will fit any conventional (not hybrid or natural gas) 2006-2011 Civic EXCEPT the Si. So it will fit the DX, LX, EX and their subcatagories ie EX-L

what i need to install this on a civic 2008 lx auto transmision., any special tools? do i need to make a special calibration or something like that??

You might need an extension for some wrenches so you can reach bolts that are a little far down. It was a simple process, it took us about 30minutes to get it installed. You might also want some WD-40 to help get things apart also rubber part that let's air into the stock airbox will be left in, there will be a 2nd hole in the medal bracket for it to go in. As far as I remember there was not any special tools. And when you go to change the coolant hose you might want a plastic bowl to catch it. There wasn't much coolant lost. We didn't use anything to catch it. I hope this helps you out. Please ask more questions if you need anymore help.
