Guardians of the Galaxy Baby Groot Figure with Built-in Song, Dancing Groot Moves Along to ‘I Want You Back’ by The Jackson 5

This is really good gag gift for anyone who loves Marvel. It’s cute and has great novelty

I bought this a while back but I don't like leaving reviews until I see how well it holds up. We've had this 6 months or so now and it still seems to be working fine. It also has a switch on the side so you can turn it off, leave it on the display setting, or have it come on and play the entire song. The song is "I Want You Back" by the Jackson 5. If you leave it on display mode it'l only play 30 seconds or so of the song and go quite. If you just leave it on it'll play a much longer version of the song for approx 90 seconds. We turn ours off when not using it because it's motion sensitive and likes to wiggle even if you don't push the button to make it do the dance and song. It's a cool little product and many guests in our home have now went out and bought one.

Received this in the mail this afternoon and we've already had a lot of fun playing with it. It dances in demo mode (does a brief dance to part of the song when you push the button) or in on mode, where it dances to a longer version of the song and THEN will dance to your music. You place Groot in front of a speaker (what? Who has speakers anymore?) and he will dance continuously to whatever song is playing. I do find that it has to be fairly close to the speaker, which is no problem for me. I just sat it next to the Yamaha soundbar and let him go to town. You will not get all the amazing animated moves of the Groot in the movies, but come on, people, this is a toy. He dances adorably and looks quite cute. Some people have cast aspersions on his appearance, but I find it to be as realistic a representation as you can possibly provide in a real world, mass produced sort of way. In short, I totally recommend this for all Guardians of the Galaxy/Groot fans out there.

As soon as I saw the dancing baby Groot in the theaters I KNEW there was going to be a toy coming out for it. Lo and behold, here it is! This dancing baby Groot reacts to sounds in your environment and will wiggle accordingly and is fun and entertaining for the whole family! Overall we are very happy and satisfied with it. That being said, the motor in this thing is distractingly loud. Every time Groot moves you can hear the motors churn inside. If you have loud music or Groot across the room, you won't hear it. But if you're sitting next to it, even with music going, you will notice it. Additionally the movements are really basic for this figure, it only rotates its 'hips'. I was expecting a little more movement out of the figure, like in the arms or even in the upper torso area. It's because of these two things combined I gave this a 4 star rating. I bought this for the wife as a gift during they heyday of the Christmas shopping season and there were a lot of issues with the shipping (I did not factor this or the following issues into the rating I gave it, just adding this as an FYI/buyer beware). First there were a ton of delays in getting Groot, so much so that I thought he wasn't going to arrive in time for even New Years! Eventually he came, but when he did he was free floating in the shipping box. I can understand the delay in shipping and other issues during the holiday season, but the Groot I received did not have an original product box, nor even any packing material in it. I suspect I received a returned Groot, but as he worked out of the box and wasn't damaged I did not pursue replacement or compensation. Got this for my son for Christmas. He loved it we was laughing as soon as it got unwrapped.

El producto no venía en su empaque, venía abierto, además el producto llegó golpeado en la parte de la maceta y completamente roto el mecanismo, el producto es inserbible.

Aside from not coming in any box of its own, this product was amazing and just what I was hoping for! It also has an apparent mode where Groot will react to sounds and swivel a bit on his own too.
