There is a big crowd out there that says cable is cable and expensive ones are just “audio jewelry.” I actually listened to this for years and never tried different cables to find out for myself. I feel like I wasted way too much time believing this incorrect advice. The big discovery for me is HOW you use cables and HOW revealing your set up is, determines IF better cables make a difference or not. Audioquest Carbon use silver as their primary conductor which makes their use with digital sources like streamers, PCs, or other similar devices much better. The flip side I’ve found is that much cheaper cables like Blue Jeans interconnects sound great on sources like turntables as they have very low capacitance. But because I actually listened to the different types of cables, I found that expensive ones used in the correct chain make a huge difference and interestingly the same can also be true of much cheaper ones.

J'étais sceptique à l'idée que celui puisse faire une différence après avoir lu plusieurs commentaires sur le sujet disant que c'est surtout pour les DAC plus anciens que la qualité d'un cable pourrait aider à améliorer la qualité sonore. Et que pour les appareils comme le mien, cela ne devrait rien changer vu qu'il a une horloge interne (pour la synchronisation binaire) et que le correcteur d'erreur est très efficace. Pourtant, j'ai vue une différence globalement, pas énorme mais quand même assez perceptible. C'est difficile à décrire mais l'exemple que je pourrais donner est que l'on peut mieux sentir la présence des intruments et des voix. Et que le son est moins '"renfermé", on a pas besoin d'augmenter les très hautes fréquences.

Von Anfang an konnte es gefallen. Sehr gute Auflösung. Wurde nach ca. 20 Stunden Einspielzeit noch besser. Nicht weit weg von absoluten Spitzenkabel entfernt. Bernd

Gutes Produkt das seinen Zweck erfüllt aber aufgrund der USB Spezifikationen im Audiobereich anscheinend keine grösseren Längen zulässt.

Excellent USB cable with an immediate increase in fidelity when I hooked it into my iMac computer feeding an AudioGD digital converter the into an Auralic Dac. I am very satisfied with this cable.
