First Essentials Bunch-a-Bowls, 4 Count

These are exactly what I was hoping for. I ordered these while preparing to introduce solids to my son. He is now 7 months old & we have been using them for a month. I just recenly ordered another pack because I love them so much. The size is perfect, the colors are great, dishwasher & microwave tested & approved, BPA free, they're wonderful! I used only 4 total bowls for the first month, which means anywhere from 6 to 8 uses per day so they have seen lots of microwaving, hand washing & dishwaster cycles. They are in just as good condition as the new ones I just ordered. I haven't needed the lids yet, but did test them when I first got them & no leaks. I think they will be perfect for finger foods on the go when he gets to that age. I highly recommend these bowls. UPDATE 8/30/13 These bowls still get daily use in our house. I have eight & came to the site to purchase another pack or two. They are perfect for on the go, the lids seal extremely tight. I frequently pack fruit, applesauce & other messy foods in these bowls & throw them in my bag with no hesitation. You would have to bust these things to pieces to see a leak. As tight as they are, the lids are also easy to remove because of the tab. I use these every day for snacks. It is the perfect size for crackers, veggies, dry cereal, etc. for my 3 year old. I am purchasing more because I use them so often & many times just throw them in the dishwasher, so 8 is not enough. They are in just as good of shape as they were when I first purchased them. These are a staple in our home.

These bowls are small, I use them for left over cat and dog food, the kids are very sturdy and secure wonderfully. They are big enough to store snacks for kids as well as adults. I wish my adult storage containers were made this well! They are really secure and the lids are not flimsy and won't break like my adult storage containers. The bowls are night and colorful and very sturdy. I hope the company makes storage containers for left over food, because these bowls are amazing but too small for large leftovers. They don't leak, and you can drop them and they won't break! Buy them and you will find many uses for them, they aren't just for kids! I love them, only wish they were larger for adult uses.

We've had these for years, and finally enough broke (through rough wear & tear) that I just bought more. Even though our kids are well past toddler stage, these are the perfect size even for adults for snacks, fruit, etc., especially if you don't want a huge bowl of something. The lids are a tight fit - good for not leaking, but a little difficult to get on & off - but we rarely use the lids. Throw them on the dishwasher top rack and you're good to go!

These are great bowls for toddlers when they are introduced to solid foods. It gives you the right portion size for them not to be overfed. They are easy to clean and store. And top seals everything, so the food doesn't spill, especially if you're giving your toddler soup. Most importantly, they are affordable :)

Disagree with the reviews that say they are too light for feeding and are better as storage bowls. Just have to be careful when feeding and you'll quickly realize they're almost perfect for both feeding and storage. Durable & of high quality. Has served us and lil' D for more than half a year now, and surely beyond. Its microwave-safe too. Although we always warm up D's food in a warmer, this feature helps when her food has cooled down - a quick 10-20 second zap without having to worry about chemicals leeching. The microwave/vented lid comes in very handy. 4 stars only because Gerber should have planned the lids better. 4 complete/solid lids + 1 microwave/vented lid would've made more sense (instead of 3 complete lids + 1 microwave lid). Right now, only able to seal 3 out of 4 bowls in the event all of them are required for storage.

I have used these bowls with both of my sons. I like them better than other bowls, because there aren't any lips or steps in them. I got another set that isn't smooth through the whole of the inner bowl, and the baby food gets caught in it, and is harder to scoop out. The lids are always good when you've mixed a little too much, and need to save the remainder for the following feeding. All in all, a good purchase for the price. I have 4 sets of them, and they are in constant cycle. 5/8/14-Update: I am STILL using these bowls with my boys. At this age, they use them for an afternoon snack of cereal, or dried fruit. They use them for making mud pies, and collecting small toys in. They have been stood on, thrown like a frisbee, and made into hats. I think it will be a sad day for me when it is time to finally donate these bowls to another family. One of those unexpected emotional milestones. :)

These are still the best! They fit in the dishwasher easily with no rim to catch water. They are freezer safe unlike the other brand. There are lids for all the bowls and they don’t leak. I bought my first two packs of these bowls 7 years ago when my first was a baby. I bought a third pack 5 years ago when my second was a baby. I recently bought my fourth set for my third baby. I didn’t keep buying new sets because they wore out. I’ve kept buying them because they are so useful and I actually use that many. They are good for preparing and serving baby food. They are good for toddler proportions. They are good for preschool and elementary snack bowls. They are good for fruit and ice cream. My seven year old and five year still use these everyday. I am still using all of my original bowls. These are the best!

Muy bonitos los colores, buen material. Los compre para iniciar con las papillas y sirven muy bien. Son pequeños, ideales para la porción que come mi bebé. Todos los platitos vienen con tapita lo cual es muy útil porque permite guardar la papilla que comerá durante el día.

Size not that big. An ok product
