Use it a lot!
I actually was turned on to this product by a fellow artist - saying that it’s better than a kneaded eraser and to get the blue tack original brand. You can pull it apart and stretch it to get it to any shape for small fixes in your sketches. Roll it into a ball and roll it around your sketch to lighten lines before painting. Also, it’s been super handy to fix a few things around my desk area. I have a glass surface on my desk and it was wobbly, so I used the smallest piece rolled up under one corner of the glass and it was stable. I have used it to hang up my art work, to hold a wobbly lamp to the table for better balance, remove dirt/dust from my keyboard/remove hair or eraser dust from work area / clothes.. I love the adhesive properties of this and it is easily ready for me when I need to erase or remove graphite of any kind. I’ve used it to secure my pencil to my sketchbook many times. I actually LOVE playing with it in my hands it’s very therapeutic. My 4 year old steals some all the time and plays with it for hours.[[ Only issue I have had is it stinks like tortilla chips after a while which I read can be a germs/fungus thing. Obviously our hands are filled with microbes and what not. I use hand al alcohol sanitizer usually to clean it up and it’s good again. ]] The pack has 5 sticks, they’re a very good size. I can get three big erasers out of one stick there’s more than enough to last you a while. I’m on my second pack because kids take it and misplace it everywhere. Def worth the buy. Many other uses I have thought up are, makeup bag to remove the bottom powdered eyeshadow makeup stick or dumped in there, GLITTER, in the car where the handles are or where dust and food gets collected. You could use it literally anywhere but I would dispose of it if you use it for cleaning something nasty. I hope this review helps.

Nice for holding things to work on them.
I use this product to hold small electronic parts when I have to solder them. It works great, and I also use it temporarily stick a note to my computer monitor when I have to leave my desk to do something, and that helped me to remember where I left off. Great stuff. Easy to use, too.

Worked Great - held up fabric and came off easily
I used this for a student apartment for a year. I mostly used it to hang up fabric posters to minimize the holes in the walls and the largest fabric was about four feet by six feet. The Blu-Tack held them up with no problems for the whole year. It pulled off the wall with no issues; I found it easiest to use a small piece of the tack to pull off the rest from the wall. No paint came with it, and it left no residue that required cleaning.

Ideal for adhering speakers to stands with isolation
Thus is a very rare instance of me responding to an Amazon "other Items" suggestion. YEAH!!! I am not an "audiophile" but I do read, research and observe. Put your hand on your speaker cabinet or grill while using it. It vibrates! The vibration may cause a speaker to fall off a smaller speaker stand. It may cause an empathetic resonance. It may cause scratches. You can put the speaker on carpet and maybe lose the highly directional tweeter sound. Or, you can look for a solution from $7 to more than several hundred dollars. This tape is cheap enough and effective. Rather than use the provided `sound isolation spikes' of my new speaker stands, I tried this option. I was not keen on pointy spikes against expensive wood. I applied Blu-Tack to the stand support plate, not the 4 stand spikes. Now picture a 21 pound vibrating speaker (at least at 100+ db) of 8"H x 23"W x 10"D dimensions resting on that small 6" x 8" surface. In their horizontal position, the speakers overlap left to right a full 8.5 inches. Now add a 65 pound Australian Shepherd patrolling his space and occasionally bumping the speaker stand. The speakers go nowhere. I have to stand on the stand base, wiggle then pull up the speaker to remove it. The good news is not only that the adhesive holds 21 pounds, but it also can be re-used. It holds if you compress the weight onto it by the way. That dog don't hunt if you just set her down! I've removed a few times and the tape retains its adhesion after only a month. One pack seems to handle six speaker stand installs, more if you use less. I have but two negatives. Really, 32 square inches of tape for that? Right mate! It is from Australia so shipping / packaging? If you need to cut an 8" inch strip, you will end up with a bump where cut even using scissors. Try a sharper and thinner razor or utility knife.

Wonderful product I've used for years
Based on the usefulness of this product to me, I find it well worth the price. Primarily, I use it to temporarily, yet securely, hold 25mm and larger gaming and display miniatures to a small, sturdy glass jar (wife's old moisturizer) I use as a temporary model holder. I pull off a hunk, roll it up into about a 1 1/2 inch ball, smush that down securely onto the top of the jar, then push the base of the miniature down firmly onto the blu-tack, and it will stay there until I want to remove it. The jar is just about the perfect size to fit comfortably in the palm of my hand, light enough to manipulate in any direction with my fingers, yet heavy enough that I can set it down safely any time I want, to clean my brush, change paints, add on small pieces with tweezers and super glue, etc. This enables me to customize and paint the miniature much more quickly and easily than I did back when, holding it in my fingers by the base only. Speaking of bases, it also makes finishing the base itself much easier, to terraform and paint both, since my fingers aren't in the way. Another big plus? I'm not dropping anything or knocking it over while any material, glue, or paint's still wet either, which usually is disastrous. Afterwards, I just pull off the finished mini (it comes right off, cleanly and easily), pull the smushed blob off the jar, put the 'tack back with the unused portion, and store all of it in its own airtight jar (NOT provided) until needed again. It'll stay tacky and useful (and re-useful) for ages this way. Also, I use it to hold miniature and other model parts together to check the fit before applying glue to anything. If the fit is a little off, I can pull the parts apart and re-assemble them as many times as necessary, while taking care of repairs and adjustments (like sanding, slicing, adding pins or other reinforcement, etc.) to one or both parts, before ever applying glue to anything. This prevents lots of potentially serious problems and considerable stress and hassle along the way, always a good thing. Finally, since it goes on and pulls off with no trouble or leaving behind any nasty residue, it also is a great material to use as a paint mask, especially for airbrushing and spray painting. Getting paint on it will reduce effectiveness over time (eventually to uselessness), but still it will last a long time, it can be reshaped and reused over and over (paint and all), and there's plenty of it for these purposes. I always have used it as a temporary adhesive, come to think of it, and doubt very much whether it would offer good long-term results anywhere permanently. Recently, I discovered another, less expensive, Amazon best selling version of this (there are similar products made by several other manufacturers available here on Amazon) for just under three bucks per package, and it seems to work fine as well. On the other hand, Blu-Tack is a well-researched, well-known product that's been around for a good long time, and it's not really very expensive itself. Sometimes, you really do get what you pay for, but how you choose to spend your own hard earned cash is your decision entirely, so go with what works best for you. I like this.

Super useful substance.
Just absolutely dead useful. I use it to hold various bits together on poseable plastic models (eg, gunpla). It doesn't work very well for keeping models standing up without a stand, so I will need to buy yet more stands at some point, but it is exceptionally useful for preventing various pieces from falling off, like hands or weapons. It isn't very strong in small amounts, but large amounts can hold quite a lot. I typically end up keeping a piece of blu-tack tucked away on each of my stands in case I need a bit to affix something or make the model more stable. It has the approximate stickiness and consistency of chewing gum, with slight differences -- most notably, it gets quite stringy when pulled thin and tends to fall down unlike gum at that point. When in larger clumps, it's more solid and rubbery than gum. It's very self-adhesive, so cleaning up any residue is usually as easy as using a larger ball of blu-tack to dab at it. Be careful with particularly narrow and deep crevices, as it is difficult to impossible to remove using this method, and you will likely need to try and dig it out somehow It's very fun to mess about with. You will likely spend quite a few minutes just stretching it out because it's fun. I've used it for other random things, like sticking pencils and brushes onto my work surface so they don't roll off. Super useful substance. I have not used it to hang anything on my walls, however.

Great Putty.
Great product...I use it mainly to hold components etc when I solder. It also works for a lot of things around the house.

My best wall friend!
This is the best product to use on walls, easily removable. Keep your framed pictures in place by applying to corners! Let your kids put posters on walls. It'll come off! Just roll a bit into a ball, and then roll over the residue attached to wall. Don't pull. Just roll.

Reusable adhesive
Being from Australia, I use this product all the time. I forgot to bring some with me and was happy to find it on Amazon, though the price is more than I normally pay in Australia. The best thing about Blu tac is that it is infinitely reusable and does not destroy the surface on which it is used. I use it for sticking up photos of my grandchildren and easily replacing them as I get new photos, using the same Blu tac. I also use it for putting up the artwork of my students. Recently I used it to stick decorative palm leaf fans to the wall. Strong hold and I could easily adjust the position of the fans. Light and easy to use, with the consistency of plasticine.
