I purchased the spillway to replace my current one; love that fact that all i had to do was screw the liner into the spillway no tools needed, however, I did not realize that the intake was 2" tubing, so I had to return it, I needed one with an intake 1 1/2"

The media could not be loaded. Works well. I have mine free standing and built ledgestone around it. I did not attach the liner to it but you can with the way its made. Nice quality.

I recently rebuilt the waterfall for my koi pond and purchased this for that project. I liked the 2" fittings provided on each end of the spillway as it allowed me to run the input from my recirculating pump into one side and the fresh water feed from my well in the other. This allows me to circulate water through the filter and into the waterfall all the time and add water from the well when needed. I can't give it 4 stars however because the top lip is not strong enough to support rock and so finding a way to properly cap the waterfall has been a challenge. The vendor offers a faux spillway rock but a cap rock designed for the spillway would be a great addition.

Seems to be of good quality.I have installed it but have not turned on the system, since the huge 30 ft waterfall is still a on-going project

Item appears to be in good condition and will perform as intended, however it gets only a 3 out of 5 rating due to the price. Also, it only comes with one adapter and I need two adapters converting from threaded outlet to unthreaded. I believe for the price, I shouldn't have to go to a hardware store to purchase another adapter. One other thing is that no weight limit was provided for the topping slab that can be placed over it. The spillway seems sturdy for a heavy slab, but without knowing how much weight it can safely handle, I will need to make sure I don't over do it. If the manufacturer is reading these, please provide weight limit for topping slab.Thank you

This waterfall box was just what I was looking for. There is no filtration, just a water feature. The water tumbles out in a bubbly jumble, giving maximum water sounds and maximum aeration. Very easy to install.

This was just what I needed. I already had one bio-filter waterfall and I wanted to expand the pond. This unit didn't need to filter the water, but was needed to ensure good flow throughout the pond. Also, didn't want to add another pump, so used a splitter and a shutoff valve to the unit to balance the flows. This spillway is solidly built, and everything you need to plumb it is included. I made sure that both falls were the same height to avoid potential flow imbalances.

Almost done building my water feature in my backyard and this was a key piece of the puzzle. Very sturdy and good design. My only recommendation would be to make sure you give yourself at least 8 inches of liner for locking into the liner lock. I did not and had to splice some together at the top -- not desirable, but I managed. I used a cement block cap as the foundation and cemented it in and got it level before gluing the waterfall box in place. All works well. I've attached some pictures.
