Eveything that I expected. Great product.
Excellent pants for cold weather and for normal temperature. Gel pad works great, great fit, looks good, feels good and is reflective in the legging. Keeps legs warm but doesnt get too hot. Acceptable for year round riding. I put in over 60 miles in these pants just as a test. Lives up to expectations. Excellent product. May order again.

Great item! The L is just long enough to fit my 34" inseam, but there is some obvious stretch going on. I think that XL would probably better accommodate the length I need. Snug fit on a 24" thigh. If you have a waist size of 36 jeans, you should go with an XL. If you are a 34, I would suggest size L. Quality construction and the gel padding is the same type found in Canari's gel shorts, which is perfectly functional and comfortable. I purchased these to wear for slightly cooler weather, but not cold weather. These are not made for a cold weather environment! Comfortable for when you need just a little more than shorts to stay warm, and need to stop just a little bit of wind. Hope that helps!

Fine, not great, not bad. Just fine.
This is probably more because I am particular about padding than the tights. I'm realizing that I'm not a big fan of the gel, it feels hard when it compresses. Though I also don't like thick foamy padding either. Thin and minimal, but there, is more what I prefer. Seems a challenge to find. Though Aero Tech Designs had a pair of cycle shorts that are perfect. Too bad they don't have the same pad in the tights. At any rate, I'm 6'0" and 205 lbs. The XL fit fine, a bit long in the torso, coming up to my navel perhaps. No big deal, though a Large probably would have been a better fit for me. I probably wouldn't wear these below about 45 degrees without another layer though. Today for a 20 mile ride at about 55 they were just fine.

Pink Logo?
Had to return this because it is somewhat loose. I have a 33-34 waist and ordered a large size. It fits perfect on my waist and the string is great to tighten it. However, I have a skinny leg and it is quite loose on the thigh and leg. Material is great and very comfortable but is just does not fit right for me. Also the tights I received is black with a pink Canari logo and not white as I expected. I am a guy and pink is not my favorite color. You know what i'm saying?

step down from the 10 year old version
I bought this to replace my 10 year old pair that saw about 500 to 800 hours of use. The updated pair is quite a disappointment. The old version was a bit heavier with the inside surface slightly fleecy making the pair good down to about 40F. The new on is OK down to about 50 but below that you need a thermal layer. No way you can add a thermal layer as the calf part in the medium size. It's too tight for a typical distance cyclist's muscles. About the only thing that broke on the old pair is an ankle zipper pull. A small paper with a bit of masking tape wrap replaced the pulls very nicely. The new ankle zippers don't stay down. They ride up exposing your lover calves to the wind. To add thermals I just ordered the large size. Can't return these because I wore them a few times. The butt pad is no where near as comfortable as the old one. About the only positive is that comparable pearly brand pants are about twice the price.

fit is a little tight in the lower legs, quality of material is thin/light
I'm 5'9" and weigh 170-lbs and the large fit me very well (my legs are average size). padded insert is decent quality but legging material is thin/light to the point that it provides very little insulation/warmth. I wear tights only when temp is < 50-degrees, so warmth is an expected benefit from this type of garment. I have a pair of Sugoi Midzero RC Pro tights that are much better quality and provide superior warmth (albeit at $70 instead of the canari here at $40). you get what you pay for. if you like thin tights, these will work, zippers are decent quality and so is padding, just not good for riding in the cooler weather in my opinion.

Good tights for the money
I have been using Canari products, primarily biking tights, for close to a decade now. They fit me well, are very comfortable on several hour rides and are reasonably priced. I live in the Bay Area and during the week I am normally on the road biking around 5:30 am. The temperatures dip in to the mid 30's at that time of the day in the winters, maybe even below freezing sometimes. These tights always keep me warm during those rides. In the summer, the temperatures are in the 70's and they don't overheat. In fact, they do a great job of wicking the sweat away so I don't feel "wet". I would say they are as good some of the Pearl Izumi tights at significantly lower price.

Nice Tight
These are very nice pants. The gel pad is awesome on the seat and the fabric feels very nice against the skin. These are great for between temperatures, maybe in the 40's-50's. The ankle zipper is nice, but not necessary at least for getting over my feet. The waistband is very comfortable and has a string to help keep them from sliding down. I am 6" 240lbs and the xl is perfect. The fabric has tons of stretch in it and would fit larger people as well.
