What is the Pyrethrin concentration?

From Wikipedia: The pyrethrins are a class of organic compounds normally derived from Chrysanthemum cinerariifolium that have potent insecticidal activity by targeting the nervous systems of insects. Pyrethrin is syntethically made by industrial methods, but it also naturally occurs in the Chrysanthemum flowers, and thus is often considered an organic insecticide, or at least when is not combined with piperonyl butoxide or other synthetic adjuvants. Their insecticidal and insect repellent properties have been known and utilized for thousands of years.

Does this product kill bees?

According to the label, yes, it will kill bees. I have found it is not very effective against larger flying insects, particularly carpenter bees. It is best against smaller insects like mosquitoes.

Can this be used with plain water for cooling?

this product is designed to be mixed with water (64oz with 50 gal of water). I would not use it without dilution

How long does a gallon last?

I have a mosquito system which is a barrel of about 60 gallons and it lasts 3 months or so.
