Swanson Tool AF006M Magnetic Angle Finder

cheap, plastic in construction or even home, doesnt work. Plastic pointer stuck in clear shell. Could not shake or tap loose. What do you want $6 ? I just needed to check shelf I could not do level.

Easy to read and use

works as it should

I bought it for one project, and I find myself using it fairly often now. Works like a charm, and after 2 or 3 takes you can be absolutely certain it's giving you the right value within the specified 1 degree tolerance

Piece of junk. Didn’t work out of the box. Had to open the front lens to fix it and the whole thing fell apart. Come to find out that the dial is just set in there. There’s no adhesive. It’s cheap so dont waste your money. I’m gonna smash it into little pieces and send it back just to prove a point.

Good quality

Needle feels a little sticky sometimes. Can't expect much better from such a low cost tool

Quite useful for jobs around the workshop, especially given the low price. It's important to get a level surface to start with. The main downside is legibility, the degree increments are a little hard to read. I was trying to get various unusual (in workshop terms) angles for wooden knife blocks.

Produto de excelente qualidade, muito bem acabado e preciso. Comparei as medições dele com dois medidores de ângulo digitais, e até onde é possível distinguir no visor dele, a marcação de ângulo de inclinação é perfeita. A base magnética também ajuda muito.

I use this in metal fabrication. The magnetic feature is a good component.
