Chantry D159 Replacement Steels Kit for D133

I bought my knife steel about 30 years ago and over the last year it was not doing the job of keeping my knives sharp. Replacing the steels was very easy and what a difference. I will change the steels every few years now.

It was time to replace the steels in my Chantry, and now it works like new again. It's so important to have sharp knives when cooking. My son did the replacement for me and it did not take long at all.

I needed a new set of blades after having used my old ones for about 15 years. These were available and finally arrived and work well.

This kit works perfectly in my Chantry. It harkens back to the old days before the "black steel" replacements came onto the scene. I have been using, and gifting, Chantry products for many years. '

I must have bought the chantry knife sharpener over 6 years ago as this is the 2nd set of replacement steels I have purchased so they obviously last a while. What I also discovered is that if you invert the steels on the fitting you get twice as long out if the steel as the knife is being sharpened at a different point.

These replacement steels have transformed my Chantry sharpener and brought it back to new. Easily and quickly fitted - the original steels can be pulled off and the replacements slide on. The results have been superb. Highly recommended!
