Works wonders!! It's not greasy or heavy, there's some tackiness, it is an ointment. I use it on my nips, my baby's dry patches, as rash cream, on my husband's eczema flair ups, and any nicks I come across

I do regular at-home TCA facial peels and I bought this product to use as a barrier cream. I really love guiazulene as a soothing ingredient so I just plugged it in to the Amazon search bar and this product popped up. It's a lovely blue color and has a thick, mildly greasy ointment texture. It does sink into the skin after a while and was completely absorbed by the time I woke up in the morning. I don't want to attribute any effects solely to this ointment as I did use other soothing products, but my skin did recover unusually quickly after applying this. It shortened my downtime by 1-2 days by helping to moisturize the dry, flaky patches from the peel. Give this a shot! I bought a small tube just to try it out but I can see why so many people love this.

Applies smooth & evenly leaving non-greasy barrier. Feels comforting, great for difficult areas such as scalp and nape area for which I use.

I was excited to try Azulenal for a variety of reasons. As a 40 something woman that still has hormonal breakouts I’m always searching for products that will quickly heal up acne spots. I was also hopeful that this would be soothing for my grandson‘s eczema. Unfortunately, woman I use this on my face It did cause me to get some cystic acne, but I don’t believe that justifies lowering its rating because I have incredibly sensitive skin and lots of things can cause me to have a breakout. Despite this, I absolutely love this ointment. The texture is rich and creamy without the sticky feeling you get from petroleum based products and I love having a more natural option to treat a variety of skin issues.

This ointment works really well and is very gentle on the skin. It helped soothe irritation quickly without stinging or causing further redness. A little goes a long way, and it absorbs nicely without feeling greasy. I like that it can be used for multiple skin issues, not just one specific purpose. I will definitely keep this on hand and repurchase.

This stuff is friggin magic. I wish I had taken a before pic but I honestly was expecting to be disappointed. I have stubborn perioral dermatitis that refuses to go away no matter what otc products I try (and I have tried them ALL). Zinc, sulfur, diaper rash cream, seb derm lotions, eczema products, gentle frag free cleansers + lotions…some would help for a few days but it always comes back even angrier and itchier than before.Ordered this as a Hail Mary not expecting much and I am stunned. Slathered this all over my face before bed, woke up and Itching, flaking and tiny surface bumps are gone after 1 application. There is still some redness and texture but it’s a solid 80% improvement and as a bonus it toned down redness on my cheeks from mild rosacea.I was prescribed Rx meds the same day this arrived but if I can avoid taking doxycycline and using the smelly, drying sulfacetamide they gave me, I will be keeping a stockpile of this. Will update if anything changes. If you have angry, rashy skin, give this a shot.

This product seems to heal faster than many other products I’ve used. This is my second time ordering and I am pleased with the results I get when using it.
